但以理書12:5-13



12:5 我─但以理觀看,見另有兩個人站立:一個在河這邊,一個在河那邊。
12:6 有一個問那站在河水以上、穿細麻衣的說:「這奇異的事到幾時才應驗呢?」
12:7 我聽見那站在河水以上、穿細麻衣的,向天舉起左右手,指著活到永遠的主起誓說:「要到一載、二載、半載,打破聖民權力的時候,這一切事就都應驗了。」
12:8 我聽見這話,卻不明白,就說:「我主啊,這些事的結局是怎樣呢?」
12:9 他說:「但以理啊,你只管去;因為這話已經隱藏封閉,直到末時。
12:10 必有許多人使自己清淨潔白,且被熬煉;但惡人仍必行惡,一切惡人都不明白,惟獨智慧人能明白。
12:11 從除掉常獻的燔祭,並設立那行毀壞可憎之物的時候,必有一千二百九十日。
12:12 等到一千三百三十五日的,那人便為有福。
12:13 「你且去等候結局,因為你必安歇。到了末期,你必起來,享受你的福分。」

Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, two others stood, one on this bank of the stream and one on that bank of the stream.  And someone said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream, “How long shall it be till the end of these wonders?”  And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream; he raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven and swore by him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and half a time, and that when the shattering of the power of the holy people comes to an end all these things would be finished.  I heard, but I did not understand. Then I said, “O my lord, what shall be the outcome of these things?”  He said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end.  Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be refined, but the wicked shall act wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, but those who are wise shall understand.  And from the time that the regular burnt offering is taken away and the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be 1,290 days.  Blessed is he who waits and arrives at the 1,335 days.  But go your way till the end. And you shall rest and shall stand in your allotted place

    這是最後的異象天使談論異象應驗的時間,並要但以理去安息等候末期。預言重點不是像算命一樣,要人預先明白一切的細節。而是要人得著激勵與安慰,在熬煉中堅持清淨潔白,終究可以明白預言背後的意義(靠自己親身體驗)。

    整卷但以理書的主題就是「上帝在歷史的表象背後掌管一切,而且將贏得         最後勝利」。但以理書提到的由尼布甲尼撒到安提阿哥四世這些君主,都想靠自己的力量建立不朽或重要的帝國,但卻彼此牽制消長。上帝雖然沒有直接介入,但卻在歷史背後掌握至高的主權並引導歷史的發展,即使是罪惡悖逆的行為也能被上帝化為祝福。上帝從來都沒有對這個世界失去控制,從過去到永遠都是如此。

    也因為有如此的認識我們不害怕任何暴政或獨裁甚至是敵基督的勢力因為這一切都將過去世上的一切到主耶穌再來時都要更新一切的惡勢力都要過去惟有上帝的國永遠長存我們只管遵行並實踐上帝國的公義以盼望的心來向主呼求:「阿們!主耶穌啊,我願你來!」

但以理書12章

12:1 那時,保佑你本國之民的天使長(原文是大君)米迦勒必站起來,並且有大艱難,從有國以來直到此時,沒有這樣的。你本國的民中,凡名錄在冊上的,必得拯救。
12:2 睡在塵埃中的,必有多人復醒。其中有得永生的,有受羞辱永遠被憎惡的。
12:3 智慧人必發光,如同天上的光;那使多人歸義的,必發光如星,直到永永遠遠。
12:4 但以理啊,你要隱藏這話,封閉這書,直到末時。必有多人來往奔跑(或譯:切心研究),知識就必增長。」

1 "At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the book. 2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. 3 And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. 4 But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase."

    末世將有大患難發生,名字在生命冊上的要得到拯救與永生。但天使要但以理隱藏封閉這信息。

    「那時」是指安提阿哥四世逼迫猶太人或者是耶穌再來前夕。「大艱難」是指的應該是末世的大災難,正如主耶穌所說的。雖然如此,但是上帝總會拯救一些人,就是名字登記在生命冊中的人,也在此分別了得永生和得滅亡的人,這是上帝的主權,人是無法說什麼的

    然而這裡也特別提到「智慧人」,有如天上的星辰,使多人歸義。但智慧人不一定明白一切,因為異象被封閉,即使汲汲營營去追求,還是一場空。不過智慧人的敬虔生活態度:以上帝為中心,而不是以知識或其他事物為中心的態度,反倒是「智慧」的表現。

    願上帝使我們成為真的「智慧人」

但以理書11:36-45



11:36 王必任意而行,自高自大,超過所有的神,又用奇異的話攻擊萬神之神。他必行事亨通,直到主的忿怒完畢,因為所定的事必然成就。
11:37 他必不顧他列祖的神,也不顧婦女所羨慕的神,無論何神他都不顧;因為他必自大,高過一切。
11:38 他倒要敬拜保障的神,用金、銀、寶石和可愛之物敬奉他列祖所不認識的神。
11:39 他必靠外邦神的幫助,攻破最堅固的保障。凡承認他的,他必將榮耀加給他們,使他們管轄許多人,又為賄賂分地與他們。
11:40 到末了,南方王要與他交戰。北方王必用戰車、馬兵,和許多戰船,勢如暴風來攻擊他,也必進入列國,如洪水氾濫。
11:41 又必進入那榮美之地,有許多國就被傾覆,但以東人、摩押人,和一大半亞捫人必脫離他的手。
11:42 他必伸手攻擊列國;埃及地也不得脫離。
11:43 他必把持埃及的金銀財寶和各樣的寶物。利比亞人和古實人都必跟從他。
11:44 但從東方和北方必有消息擾亂他,他就大發烈怒出去,要將多人殺滅淨盡。
11:45 他必在海和榮美的聖山中間設立他如宮殿的帳幕;然而到了他的結局,必無人能幫助他。

36 "And the king shall do as he wills. He shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak astonishing things against the God of gods. He shall prosper till the indignation is accomplished; for what is decreed shall be done. 37 He shall pay no attention to the gods of his fathers, or to the one beloved by women. He shall not pay attention to any other god, for he shall magnify himself above all. 38 He shall honor the god of fortresses instead of these. A god whom his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and costly gifts. 39 He shall deal with the strongest fortresses with the help of a foreign god. Those who acknowledge him he shall load with honor. He shall make them rulers over many and shall divide the land for a price.
40 "At the time of the end, the king of the south shall attack him, but the king of the north shall rush upon him like a whirlwind, with chariots and horsemen, and with many ships. And he shall come into countries and shall overflow and pass through. 41 He shall come into the glorious land. And tens of thousands shall fall, but these shall be delivered out of his hand: Edom and Moab and the main part of the Ammonites. 42 He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 He shall become ruler of the treasures of gold and of silver, and all the precious things of Egypt, and the Libyans and the Cushites shall follow in his train. 44 But news from the east and the north shall alarm him, and he shall go out with great fury to destroy and devote many to destruction. 45 And he shall pitch his palatial tents between the sea and the glorious holy mountain. Yet he shall come to his end, with none to help him.

    自高自大的王自認超過神並要攻擊上帝,他要得勢獲勝,但結局時無人能幫助他。這一段經文解釋的主要困難是此處的預言與安提阿哥四世並不吻合,那到底這段經文要怎樣看待?安提阿哥四世於主前16411月遠征帕提亞人時,死在波斯的加巴。比較可能是這個異象先實現在當日的安提阿哥四世身上,末世時又雙重應驗在敵基督身上。

    提阿哥四世或者是敵基督?事實上兩者都有可能。因為安提阿哥四世也的確有經文記載的那些特徵,但這些特徵在歷世歷代的統治者間並不罕見,未來的敵基督有這些特徵也不足為奇。

    然而敵基督不見得是由指教會外的人,更有可能發生在「名義上」的教會內的人。因為又有許多人靠外表的敬虔欺騙上帝家中的人,他們如同稗子在麥子中間,到末世這樣的人要顯明出來。主耶穌告訴我們要看結局,不要看過程,這事很重要之原則。也因此,我們不管是面對麥子還是稗子,都要用一貫的態度,不要去論斷,讓主自己來辨明,我們只管殷勤栽培每一位弟兄姊妹。

但以理書11:21-35



11:21 必有一個卑鄙的人興起接續為王,人未曾將國的尊榮給他,他卻趁人坦然無備的時候,用諂媚的話得國。
11:22 必有無數的軍兵勢如洪水,在他面前沖沒敗壞;同盟的君也必如此。
11:23 與那君結盟之後,他必行詭詐,因為他必上來以微小的軍(原文是民)成為強盛。
11:24 趁人坦然無備的時候,他必來到國中極肥美之地,行他列祖和他列祖之祖所未曾行的,將擄物、掠物,和財寶散給眾人,又要設計攻打保障,然而這都是暫時的。
11:25 他必奮勇向前,率領大軍攻擊南方王;南方王也必以極大極強的軍兵與他爭戰,卻站立不住,因為有人設計謀害南方王。
11:26 吃王膳的,必敗壞他;他的軍隊必被沖沒,而且被殺的甚多。
11:27 至於這二王,他們心懷惡計,同席說謊,計謀卻不成就;因為到了定期,事就了結。
11:28 北方王(原文是他)必帶許多財寶回往本國,他的心反對聖約,任意而行,回到本地。
11:29 到了定期,他必返回,來到南方。後一次卻不如前一次,
11:30 因為基提戰船必來攻擊他,他就喪膽而回,又要惱恨聖約,任意而行;他必回來聯絡背棄聖約的人。
11:31 他必興兵,這兵必褻瀆聖地,就是保障,除掉常獻的燔祭,設立那行毀壞可憎的。
11:32 作惡違背聖約的人,他必用巧言勾引;惟獨認識上帝的子民必剛強行事。
11:33 民間的智慧人必訓誨多人;然而他們多日必倒在刀下,或被火燒,或被擄掠搶奪。
11:34 他們仆倒的時候,稍得扶助,卻有許多人用諂媚的話親近他們。
11:35 智慧人中有些仆倒的,為要熬煉其餘的人,使他們清淨潔白,直到末了;因為到了定期,事就了結。

21 In his place shall arise a contemptible person to whom royal majesty has not been given. He shall come in without warning and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. 22 Armies shall be utterly swept away before him and broken, even the prince of the covenant. 23 And from the time that an alliance is made with him he shall act deceitfully, and he shall become strong with a small people. 24 Without warning he shall come into the richest parts of the province, and he shall do what neither his fathers nor his fathers 'fathers have done, scattering among them plunder, spoil, and goods. He shall devise plans against strongholds, but only for a time. 25 And he shall stir up his power and his heart against the king of the south with a great army. And the king of the south shall wage war with an exceedingly great and mighty army, but he shall not stand, for plots shall be devised against him. 26 Even those who eat his food shall break him. His army shall be swept away, and many shall fall down slain.
slain. 27 And as for the two kings, their hearts shall be bent on doing evil. They shall speak lies at the same table, but to no avail, for the end is yet to be at the time appointed. 28 And he shall return to his land with great wealth, but his heart shall be set against the holy covenant. And he shall work his will and return to his own land.
29 "At the time appointed he shall return and come into the south, but it shall not be this time as it was before. 30 For ships of Kittim shall come against him, and he shall be afraid and withdraw, and shall turn back and be enraged and take action against the holy covenant. He shall turn back and pay attention to those who forsake the holy covenant. 31 Forces from him shall appear and profane the temple and fortress, and shall take away the regular burnt offering. And they shall set up the abomination that makes desolate. 32 He shall seduce with flattery those who violate the covenant, but the people who know their God shall stand firm and take action. 33 And the wise among the people shall make many understand, though for some days they shall stumble by sword and flame, by captivity and plunder. 34 When they stumble, they shall receive a little help. And many shall join themselves to them with flattery, 35 and some of the wise shall stumble, so that they may be refined, purified, and made white, until the time of the end, for it still awaits the appointed time.

    這是關於安提阿哥四世的預言。西流基四世死時,他的兒子底米丟已經被送                                去羅馬代替安提阿哥四世作人質。安提阿哥四世找了別迦摩王幫助,藉口為兄長報仇,殺了國師希略多路(罪名當然是「弒君」)。之後不理在羅馬作人質的底米丟,自己擔任攝政王,自己的另一個姪子(也叫安提阿哥)當國王。主前170年,當國王的姪子去世(可能是被安提阿哥四世暗殺的),他自己用諂媚的話籠絡北朝的重臣,取得王位。

    主前167年,安提阿哥四世派阿波羅修領兵進入耶路撒冷任意燒殺,又廢除各項宗教節期、禮儀、割禮。西元前16712月在聖殿內設立宙斯神像,獻豬隻為祭以豬血污穢祭壇、器皿。又命令猶太人向宙斯下拜。這些行為激起了猶太人的起義反抗,並獲勝建立了哈斯摩尼王朝 (The Hasmonean Period,主前166-63),史稱馬喀比時代。馬喀比佔領耶路撒冷後,於是年冬天潔淨聖殿,並重新獻殿,恢復獻祭儀式,為猶太人修殿節(Hanukkah,又稱光明節)的開始。在這獨立期間,興起了多個猶太人的宗教團體,其中包括法利賽人、撒都該人、愛色尼人、奮銳黨人等。

    這也看出但以理的預言好像在是實現了,而這一切讓我們不僅肯定聖經的準確性,更讓我們相信關於耶穌再來的事件,不是夢想,是真實可信的事,也在乎上帝的時間,更可貴的是上帝透過「禮拜」讓我們預嘗將來主再來的情形,讓我們感受上帝的臨在,就是地上的天國(上帝國)。
