約翰福音9:13-34

 

9:13 他們把從前瞎眼的人帶到法利賽人那裡。
9:14 耶穌和泥開他眼睛的日子是安息日。
9:15 法利賽人也問他是怎麼得看見的。瞎子對他們說：「他把泥抹在我的眼睛上，我去一洗，就看見了。」
9:16 法利賽人中有的說：「這個人不是從上帝來的，因為他不守安息日。」又有人說：「一個罪人怎能行這樣的神蹟呢？」他們就起了紛爭。
9:17 他們又對瞎子說：「他既然開了你的眼睛，你說他是怎樣的人呢？」他說：「是個先知。」
9:18 猶太人不信他從前是瞎眼，後來能看見的，等到叫了他的父母來，
9:19 問他們說：「這是你們的兒子嗎？你們說他生來是瞎眼的，如今怎麼能看見了呢？」
9:20 他父母回答說：「他是我們的兒子，生來就瞎眼，這是我們知道的。
9:21 至於他如今怎麼能看見，我們卻不知道；是誰開了他的眼睛，我們也不知道。他已經成了人，你們問他吧，他自己必能說。」
9:22 他父母說這話，是怕猶太人；因為猶太人已經商議定了，若有認耶穌是基督的，要把他趕出會堂。
9:23 因此他父母說：「他已經成了人，你們問他吧。」
9:24 所以法利賽人第二次叫了那從前瞎眼的人來，對他說：「你該將榮耀歸給上帝，我們知道這人是個罪人。」
9:25 他說：「他是個罪人不是，我不知道；有一件事我知道，從前我是眼瞎的，如今能看見了。」
9:26 他們就問他說：「他向你做甚麼？是怎麼開了你的眼睛呢？」
9:27 他回答說：「我方才告訴你們，你們不聽，為甚麼又要聽呢？莫非你們也要作他的門徒嗎？」
9:28 他們就罵他說：「你是他的門徒；我們是摩西的門徒。
9:29 上帝對摩西說話是我們知道的；只是這個人，我們不知道他從哪裡來！」
9:30 那人回答說：「他開了我的眼睛，你們竟不知道他從哪裡來，這真是奇怪！
9:31 我們知道上帝不聽罪人，惟有敬奉上帝、遵行他旨意的，上帝才聽他。
9:32 從創世以來，未曾聽見有人把生來是瞎子的眼睛開了。
9:33 這人若不是從上帝來的，甚麼也不能做。」
9:34 他們回答說：「你全然生在罪孽中，還要教訓我們嗎？」於是把他趕出去了。

 

¹³ They brought to the Pharisees the man who had been blind. ¹⁴ Now the day on which Jesus had made the mud and opened the man’s eyes was a Sabbath. ¹⁵ Therefore the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. “He put mud on my eyes,” the man replied, “and I washed, and now I see.”

¹⁶ Some of the Pharisees said, “This man is not from God, for he does not keep the Sabbath.”

But others asked, “How can a sinner perform such signs?” So they were divided.

¹⁷ Then they turned again to the blind man, “What have you to say about him? It was your eyes he opened.”

The man replied, “He is a prophet.”

¹⁸ They still did not believe that he had been blind and had received his sight until they sent for the man’s parents. ¹⁹ “Is this your son?” they asked. “Is this the one you say was born blind? How is it that now he can see?”

²⁰ “We know he is our son,” the parents answered, “and we know he was born blind. ²¹ But how he can see now, or who opened his eyes, we don’t know. Ask him. He is of age; he will speak for himself.” ²² His parents said this because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders, who already had decided that anyone who acknowledged that Jesus was the Messiah would be put out of the synagogue. ²³ That was why his parents said, “He is of age; ask him.”

²⁴ A second time they summoned the man who had been blind. “Give glory to God by telling the truth,” they said. “We know this man is a sinner.”

²⁵ He replied, “Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!”

²⁶ Then they asked him, “What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?”

²⁷ He answered, “I have told you already and you did not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you want to become his disciples too?”

²⁸ Then they hurled insults at him and said, “You are this fellow’s disciple! We are disciples of Moses! ²⁹ We know that God spoke to Moses, but as for this fellow, we don’t even know where he comes from.”

³⁰ The man answered, “Now that is remarkable! You don’t know where he comes from, yet he opened my eyes. ³¹ We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will. ³² Nobody has ever heard of opening the eyes of a man born blind. ³³ If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.”

³⁴ To this they replied, “You were steeped in sin at birth; how dare you lecture us!” And they threw him out.

    看到法利賽人的行徑，就感受到一些政治人物的嘴臉，想為自己建立勢力和權柄，讓人都尊敬和聽從他們，並且不斷的打壓對祂們有威脅的人。正如主耶穌一治好了瞎眼的人，他們就不斷的對那人和他的家人施壓，並且汙衊主耶穌。

 

    這些充滿污穢和不義的行徑，是站立不住的！因為他們攻擊的對象是主耶穌，是永生的上帝！雖然法利賽有宗教上的地位，但是瞎眼的人卻是親身經歷上帝的作為，就不會屈服在這些惡勢力底下，因為上帝是真實與永恆的，那些敵對主耶穌的力量終必過去！

 

    同樣，今日我們是主耶穌的門徒，也不要屈服在邪惡的勢力下，也不用懼怕他們，唯有基督是主，祂是永堅立的，信靠祂的也永不搖動！因為勝利是屬於上帝和他的子民的，一直到永遠！

 

 

 

 

約翰福音9:1-12

 

9:1 耶穌過去的時候，看見一個人生來是瞎眼的。
9:2 門徒問耶穌說：「拉比，這人生來是瞎眼的，是誰犯了罪？是這人呢？是他父母呢？」
9:3 耶穌回答說：「也不是這人犯了罪，也不是他父母犯了罪，是要在他身上顯出上帝的作為來。
9:4 趁著白日，我們必須做那差我來者的工；黑夜將到，就沒有人能做工了。
9:5 我在世上的時候，是世上的光。」
9:6 耶穌說了這話，就吐唾沫在地上，用唾沫和泥抹在瞎子的眼睛上，
9:7 對他說：「你往西羅亞池子裡去洗。」（西羅亞翻出來就是「奉差遣」。）他去一洗，回頭就看見了。
9:8 他的鄰舍和那素常見他是討飯的，就說：「這不是那從前坐著討飯的人嗎？」
9:9 有人說：「是他」；又有人說：「不是，卻是像他。」他自己說：「是我。」
9:10 他們對他說：「你的眼睛是怎麼開的呢？」
9:11 他回答說：「有一個人，名叫耶穌，他和泥抹我的眼睛，對我說：『你往西羅亞池子去洗。』我去一洗，就看見了。」
9:12 他們說：「那個人在哪裡？」他說：「我不知道。」

 

As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. ² His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”

³ “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. ⁴ As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. ⁵ While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

⁶ After saying this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. ⁷ “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.

⁸ His neighbors and those who had formerly seen him begging asked, “Isn’t this the same man who used to sit and beg?” ⁹ Some claimed that he was.

Others said, “No, he only looks like him.”

But he himself insisted, “I am the man.”

¹⁰ “How then were your eyes opened?” they asked.

¹¹ He replied, “The man they call Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes. He told me to go to Siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and then I could see.”

¹² “Where is this man?” they asked him.

“I don’t know,” he said.

    罪與罰是許多人的思考模式，之所以如此是因為人被罪惡所轄制，產生了罪行。因為害怕受到上帝的懲罰，就尋找別人的罪行，好讓自己受懲罰的時候，有人一同受刑罰就不會有羞愧的感覺。

 

    然而許多人認為疾病和身體的殘缺，是上帝懲罰的結果。所以遇見瞎眼的人，門徒會問主耶穌說：「拉比，這人生來是瞎眼的，是誰犯了罪？是這人呢？是他父母呢？」

 

    然而主耶穌回答得很有意思：「也不是這人犯了罪，也不是他父母犯了罪，是要在他身上顯出上帝的作為來。趁著白日，我們必須做那差我來者的工；黑夜將到，就沒有人能做工了。我在世上的時候，是世上的光。」

 

    是的，上帝愛我們，不是要對我們落井下石，反而是從罪惡中救拔我們，使我們脫離罪惡。不像人，總是把自己當好人，把自己政治立場不同的人當成惡人、罪人，想盡辦法羞辱敵對他們的人。

 

    也因為如此，基督徒既然是上帝的兒女，就不可以效法世界的樣式，不是羞辱人來高抬自己，而是要像上帝一樣來尊榮人、寶貝人，使人彰顯上帝的榮耀，因為人是照上帝形像造的，本是要榮耀上帝的！

17:1 亞撒的兒子約沙法接續他作王，奮勇自強，防備以色列人，
17:2 安置軍兵在猶大一切堅固城裡，又安置防兵在猶大地和他父亞撒所得以法蓮的城邑中。
17:3 耶和華與約沙法同在；因為他行他祖大衛初行的道，不尋求巴力，
17:4 只尋求他父親的上帝，遵行他的誡命，不效法以色列人的行為。
17:5 所以耶和華堅定他的國，猶大眾人給他進貢；約沙法大有尊榮資財。
17:6 他高興遵行耶和華的道，並且從猶大除掉一切邱壇和木偶。
17:7 他作王第三年，就差遣臣子便亥伊勒、俄巴底、撒迦利雅、拿坦業、米該亞往猶大各城去教訓百姓。
17:8 同著他們有利未人示瑪雅、尼探雅、西巴第雅、亞撒黑、示米拉末、約拿單、亞多尼雅、多比雅、駝巴多尼雅，又有祭司以利沙瑪、約蘭同著他們。
17:9 他們帶著耶和華的律法書，走遍猶大各城教訓百姓。
17:10 耶和華使猶大四圍的列國都甚恐懼，不敢與約沙法爭戰。
17:11 有些非利士人與約沙法送禮物，納貢銀。阿拉伯人也送他公綿羊七千七百隻，公山羊七千七百隻。
17:12 約沙法日漸強大，在猶大建造營寨和積貨城。
17:13 他在猶大城邑中有許多工程，又在耶路撒冷有戰士，就是大能的勇士。
17:14 他們的數目，按著宗族，記在下面：猶大族的千夫長押拿為首率領大能的勇士─三十萬；
17:15 其次是，千夫長約哈難率領大能的勇士─二十八萬；
17:16 其次是，細基利的兒子亞瑪斯雅〈他為耶和華犧牲自己〉率領大能的勇士─二十萬。
17:17 便雅憫族，是大能的勇士以利雅大率領拿弓箭和盾牌的─二十萬；
17:18 其次是，約薩拔率領預備打仗的─十八萬。
17:19 這都是伺候王的，還有王在猶大全地堅固城所安置的不在其內。

 

ehoshaphat his son succeeded him as king and strengthened himself against Israel. ² He stationed troops in all the fortified cities of Judah and put garrisons in Judah and in the towns of Ephraim that his father Asa had captured.

³ The Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he followed the ways of his father David before him. He did not consult the Baals ⁴ but sought the God of his father and followed his commands rather than the practices of Israel. ⁵ The Lord established the kingdom under his control; and all Judah brought gifts to Jehoshaphat, so that he had great wealth and honor. ⁶ His heart was devoted to the ways of the Lord; furthermore, he removed the high places and the Asherah poles from Judah.

⁷ In the third year of his reign he sent his officials Ben-Hail, Obadiah, Zechariah, Nethanel and Micaiah to teach in the towns of Judah. ⁸ With them were certain Levites—Shemaiah, Nethaniah, Zebadiah, Asahel, Shemiramoth, Jehonathan, Adonijah, Tobijah and Tob-Adonijah—and the priests Elishama and Jehoram. ⁹ They taught throughout Judah, taking with them the Book of the Law of the Lord; they went around to all the towns of Judah and taught the people.

¹⁰ The fear of the Lord fell on all the kingdoms of the lands surrounding Judah, so that they did not go to war against Jehoshaphat. ¹¹ Some Philistines brought Jehoshaphat gifts and silver as tribute, and the Arabs brought him flocks: seven thousand seven hundred rams and seven thousand seven hundred goats.

¹² Jehoshaphat became more and more powerful; he built forts and store cities in Judah ¹³ and had large supplies in the towns of Judah. He also kept experienced fighting men in Jerusalem. ¹⁴ Their enrollment by families was as follows:

From Judah, commanders of units of 1,000:

Adnah the commander, with 300,000 fighting men;

¹⁵ next, Jehohanan the commander, with 280,000;

¹⁶ next, Amasiah son of Zikri, who volunteered himself for the service of the Lord, with 200,000.

¹⁷ From Benjamin:

Eliada, a valiant soldier, with 200,000 men armed with bows and shields;

¹⁸ next, Jehozabad, with 180,000 men armed for battle.

¹⁹ These were the men who served the king, besides those he stationed in the fortified cities throughout Judah.

    亞撒的兒子約沙法接續他作王，敬畏上帝！所以，上帝繼續賜福於猶大，使猶大繼續強盛。

 

    這也提醒今日教會，要敬畏上帝，上帝才會大大使用教會，使教會成為萬民之福！正如保羅所說：「上帝能照著運行在我們心裡的大力充充足足地成就一切，超過我們所求所想的。但願他在教會中，並在基督耶穌裡，得著榮耀，直到世世代代，永永遠遠。阿們！」(以弗所書3:20-21)

 

約翰福音8:48-59

 

8:48 猶太人回答說：「我們說你是撒馬利亞人，並且是鬼附著的，這話豈不正對嗎？」
8:49 耶穌說：「我不是鬼附著的；我尊敬我的父，你們倒輕慢我。
8:50 我不求自己的榮耀，有一位為我求榮耀、定是非的。
8:51 我實實在在地告訴你們，人若遵守我的道，就永遠不見死。」
8:52 猶太人對他說：「現在我們知道你是鬼附著的。亞伯拉罕死了，眾先知也死了，你還說：『人若遵守我的道，就永遠不嘗死味。』
8:53 難道你比我們的祖宗亞伯拉罕還大嗎？他死了，眾先知也死了，你將自己當作甚麼人呢？」
8:54 耶穌回答說：「我若榮耀自己，我的榮耀就算不得甚麼；榮耀我的乃是我的父，就是你們所說是你們的上帝。
8:55 你們未曾認識他；我卻認識他。我若說不認識他，我就是說謊的，像你們一樣；但我認識他，也遵守他的道。
8:56 你們的祖宗亞伯拉罕歡歡喜喜地仰望我的日子，既看見了就快樂。」
8:57 猶太人說：「你還沒有五十歲，豈見過亞伯拉罕呢？」
8:58 耶穌說：「我實實在在地告訴你們，還沒有亞伯拉罕就有了我。」
8:59 於是他們拿石頭要打他；耶穌卻躲藏，從殿裡出去了。

 

⁴⁸ The Jews answered him, “Aren’t we right in saying that you are a Samaritan and demon-possessed?”

⁴⁹ “I am not possessed by a demon,” said Jesus, “but I honor my Father and you dishonor me. ⁵⁰ I am not seeking glory for myself; but there is one who seeks it, and he is the judge. ⁵¹ Very truly I tell you, whoever obeys my word will never see death.”

⁵² At this they exclaimed, “Now we know that you are demon-possessed! Abraham died and so did the prophets, yet you say that whoever obeys your word will never taste death. ⁵³ Are you greater than our father Abraham? He died, and so did the prophets. Who do you think you are?”

⁵⁴ Jesus replied, “If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who glorifies me. ⁵⁵ Though you do not know him, I know him. If I said I did not, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and obey his word. ⁵⁶ Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.”

⁵⁷ “You are not yet fifty years old,” they said to him, “and you have seen Abraham!”

⁵⁸ “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” ⁵⁹ At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.

    主耶穌面對有上帝觀念的猶太人傳福音，不見得是容易的，因為他們不能接受主耶穌就是上帝的兒子，就是基督！更不能接受祂的神性，無法接受主耶穌說：「我實實在在地告訴你們，還沒有亞伯拉罕就有了我。」

 

    然而主耶穌既是全能的上帝，取了人身在人的中間，當然是清楚亞伯拉罕是誰，當然是看過亞伯拉罕。也因此，我們不要以為主耶穌只是一位年輕的猶太人，祂仍然是完全的上帝，只是祂取了人身是要完成獻祭的需要，祂是要所有屬祂的人代贖而死，完成救贖的計畫。

 

    也因為如此，我們要同眾聖徒一同來讚美主耶穌的救贖大功，將榮耀歸給預備救恩的上帝！
