創世記25:19-34


25:19 亞伯拉罕的兒子以撒的後代記在下面。亞伯拉罕生以撒。
25:20
以撒娶利百加為妻的時候正四十歲。利百加是巴旦亞蘭地的亞蘭人彼土利的女兒,是亞蘭人拉班的妹子。
25:21
以撒因他妻子不生育,就為她祈求耶和華;耶和華應允他的祈求,他的妻子利百加就懷了孕。
25:22
孩子們在她腹中彼此相爭,她就說:「若是這樣,我為甚麼活著呢(或譯:我為甚麼如此呢)?」她就去求問耶和華。
25:23
耶和華對她說:兩國在你腹內;兩族要從你身上出來。這族必強於那族;將來大的要服事小的。
25:24
生產的日子到了,腹中果然是雙子。
25:25
先產的身體發紅,渾身有毛,如同皮衣,他們就給他起名叫以掃(就是有毛的意思)。
25:26
隨後又生了以掃的兄弟,手抓住以掃的腳跟,因此給他起名叫雅各(就是抓住的意思)。利百加生下兩個兒子的時候,以撒年正六十歲。
25:27
兩個孩子漸漸長大,以掃善於打獵,常在田野;雅各為人安靜,常住在帳棚裡。
25:28
以撒愛以掃,因為常吃他的野味;利百加卻愛雅各。
25:29
有一天,雅各熬湯,以掃從田野回來累昏了。
25:30
以掃對雅各說:「我累昏了,求你把這紅湯給我喝。」因此以掃又叫以東(就是紅的意思)。
25:31
雅各說:「你今日把長子的名分賣給我吧。」
25:32
以掃說:「我將要死,這長子的名分於我有甚麼益處呢?」
25:33
雅各說:「你今日對我起誓吧。」以掃就對他起了誓,把長子的名分賣給雅各。
25:34
於是雅各將餅和紅豆湯給了以掃,以掃吃了喝了,便起來走了。這就是以掃輕看了他長子的名分。

19 This is the account of the family line of Abraham’s son Isaac.
Abraham became the father of Isaac, 20 and Isaac was forty years old when he married Rebekah daughter of Bethuel the Aramean from Paddan Aram[c] and sister of Laban the Aramean.
21 Isaac prayed to the Lord on behalf of his wife, because she was childless. The Lord answered his prayer, and his wife Rebekah became pregnant. 22 The babies jostled each other within her, and she said, “Why is this happening to me?” So she went to inquire of the Lord.
23 The Lord said to her,
“Two nations are in your womb,
    and two peoples from within you will be separated;
one people will be stronger than the other,
    and the older will serve the younger.”
24 When the time came for her to give birth, there were twin boys in her womb. 25 The first to come out was red, and his whole body was like a hairy garment; so they named him Esau.[d] 26 After this, his brother came out, with his hand grasping Esau’s heel; so he was named Jacob.[e] Isaac was sixty years old when Rebekah gave birth to them.
27 The boys grew up, and Esau became a skillful hunter, a man of the open country, while Jacob was content to stay at home among the tents. 28 Isaac, who had a taste for wild game, loved Esau, but Rebekah loved Jacob.
29 Once when Jacob was cooking some stew, Esau came in from the open country, famished. 30 He said to Jacob, “Quick, let me have some of that red stew! I’m famished!” (That is why he was also called Edom.[f])
31 Jacob replied, “First sell me your birthright.”
32 “Look, I am about to die,” Esau said. “What good is the birthright to me?”
33 But Jacob said, “Swear to me first.” So he swore an oath to him, selling his birthright to Jacob.
34 Then Jacob gave Esau some bread and some lentil stew. He ate and drank, and then got up and left.
So Esau despised his birthright.

    雅各和以掃是雙胞胎,但是命運卻不同。因為上帝選上的雅各,卻厭棄了以掃,以致於應許的恩典臨到雅各和他的子孫!而雅各則是以色列人的祖先,也因此亞伯拉罕的福是屬於以色列的,上帝也透過以色列人預備基督。


創世記25:12-18


25:12 撒拉的使女埃及人夏甲給亞伯拉罕所生的兒子是以實瑪利。
25:13
以實瑪利兒子們的名字,按著他們的家譜記在下面。以實瑪利的長子是尼拜約,又有基達、亞德別、米比衫、
25:14
米施瑪、度瑪、瑪撒、
25:15
哈大、提瑪、伊突、拿非施、基底瑪。
25:16
這是以實瑪利眾子的名字,照著他們的村莊、營寨,作了十二族的族長。
25:17
以實瑪利享壽一百三十七歲,氣絕而死,歸到他列祖(原文是本民)那裡。
25:18
他子孫的住處在他眾弟兄東邊,從哈腓拉直到埃及前的書珥,正在亞述的道上。

12 This is the account of the family line of Abraham’s son Ishmael, whom Sarah’s slave, Hagar the Egyptian, bore to Abraham.
13 These are the names of the sons of Ishmael, listed in the order of their birth: Nebaioth the firstborn of Ishmael, Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, 14 Mishma, Dumah, Massa, 15 Hadad, Tema, Jetur, Naphish and Kedemah. 16 These were the sons of Ishmael, and these are the names of the twelve tribal rulers according to their settlements and camps. 17 Ishmael lived a hundred and thirty-seven years. He breathed his last and died, and he was gathered to his people. 18 His descendants settled in the area from Havilah to Shur, near the eastern border of Egypt, as you go toward Ashur. And they lived in hostility toward[b] all the tribes related to them.

    這是以實瑪利的譜系,因為他們不是應許之子,就沒有成受亞伯拉罕的福!

創世記25章

創世記25:1-11


25:1 亞伯拉罕又娶了一妻,名叫基土拉。
25:2
基土拉給他生了心蘭、約珊、米但、米甸、伊施巴,和書亞。
25:3
約珊生了示巴和底但。底但的子孫是亞書利族、利都是族,和利烏米族。
25:4
米甸的兒子是以法、以弗、哈諾、亞比大,和以勒大。這都是基土拉的子孫。
25:5
亞伯拉罕將一切所有的都給了以撒。
25:6
亞伯拉罕把財物分給他庶出的眾子,趁著自己還在世的時候打發他們離開他的兒子以撒,往東方去。
25:7
亞伯拉罕一生的年日是一百七十五歲。
25:8
亞伯拉罕壽高年邁,氣絕而死,歸到他列祖(原文是本民)那裡。
25:9
他兩個兒子以撒、以實瑪利把他埋葬在麥比拉洞裡。這洞在幔利前、赫人瑣轄的兒子以弗崙的田中,
25:10
就是亞伯拉罕向赫人買的那塊田。亞伯拉罕和他妻子撒拉都葬在那裡。
25:11
亞伯拉罕死了以後,上帝賜福給他的兒子以撒。以撒靠近庇耳拉海萊居住。

Abraham had taken another wife, whose name was Keturah. She bore him Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak and Shuah. Jokshan was the father of Sheba and Dedan; the descendants of Dedan were the Ashurites, the Letushites and the Leummites. The sons of Midian were Ephah, Epher, Hanok, Abida and Eldaah. All these were descendants of Keturah.
Abraham left everything he owned to Isaac. But while he was still living, he gave gifts to the sons of his concubines and sent them away from his son Isaac to the land of the east.
Abraham lived a hundred and seventy-five years. Then Abraham breathed his last and died at a good old age, an old man and full of years; and he was gathered to his people. His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah near Mamre, in the field of Ephron son of Zohar the Hittite, 10 the field Abraham had bought from the Hittites.[a] There Abraham was buried with his wife Sarah. 11 After Abraham’s death, God blessed his son Isaac, who then lived near Beer LahaiRoi.

亞伯拉罕並非不能生育主要的問題是在撒拉但是不管如何上帝還是透過撒拉給亞伯拉罕生了一位應許之子也就是以撒而亞伯拉罕也知道上帝的應許所以的財產都給以撒其他的兒打發他們離開

然而亞伯拉罕也只有活到一百七十五歲最後和撒拉埋在一起不過他還沒有完全得迦南地為業雖然如此上帝卻為他預備一座永恆的城正如希伯來書1113-16節說:「這些人都是存著信心死的,並沒有得著所應許的;卻從遠處望見,且歡喜迎接,又承認自己在世上是客旅,是寄居的。說這樣話的人是表明自己要找一個家鄉。他們若想念所離開的家鄉,還有可以回去的機會。他們卻羨慕一個更美的家鄉,就是在天上的。所以上帝被稱為他們的上帝,並不以為恥,因為他已經給他們預備了一座城。

讓我們也來盼望那一個更美的家鄉,就是在天上的。那是上帝為祂所愛的人所預備的,是上帝應許給每一位靠基督而成為亞伯拉罕子孫的人!

箴言24:15-16


24:15 你這惡人,不要埋伏攻擊義人的家;不要毀壞他安居之所。
24:16
因為,義人雖七次跌倒,仍必興起;惡人卻被禍患傾倒。

15 Do not lurk like a thief near the house of the righteous,
    do not plunder their dwelling place;
16 for though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again,

    but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes.

    義人指的是有上帝保守的人這樣的人不是靠自己的好行為是因為上帝的看顧與保守所以就不被罪惡所影響與綑綁聖靈會隨時提醒與提供力量成為一個敬畏上帝的人

    也因為這樣聖經在這裡警告惡人不要想侵犯義人正如經文所說:「義人雖七次跌倒,仍必興起」。這裡的「七次」不一定是數目字上的「七」,而是指次數雖然多,卻沒有影響!

    義人之所以可以如此是因為上帝的保守,反而攻擊義人的,卻要受到報應,正如這裡的警告:「惡人卻被禍患傾倒」。因為惡人與上帝為敵,上帝也與他為敵,甚至不搭救他們脫離禍患!

    因此我們要成為敬畏上帝的義人不要自以為義要以基督的義為我們的義成為倚靠上帝的義人
