何西阿書13:15-16

13:15 他在弟兄中雖然茂盛，必有東風颳來，就是耶和華的風從曠野上來。他的泉源必乾；他的源頭必竭；仇敵必擄掠他所積蓄的一切寶器。

13:16 撒馬利亞必擔當自己的罪，因為悖逆她的上帝。她必倒在刀下；嬰孩必被摔死；孕婦必被剖開。

15 Though he may flourish among his brothers,

 the east wind, the wind of the Lord, shall come,

rising from the wilderness,

 and his fountain shall dry up;

his spring shall be parched;

it shall strip his treasury

of every precious thing.

16 Samaria shall bear her guilt,

because she has rebelled against her God;

they shall fall by the sword;

 their little ones shall be dashed in pieces,

and their pregnant women ripped open.

    這兩節的語意和第14節好像連結不來，祈時前一節是翻譯的誤差造成的。

    「我必救贖他們脫離陰間，救贖他們脫離死亡」：應該譯為疑問句「我要救贖他們脫離陰間嗎？救贖他們脫離死亡嗎？」

    「死亡啊，你的災害在哪裡呢？陰間哪，你的毀滅在哪裡呢」：應該譯為「有禍了，你的災害！有禍了，你的毀滅」。

    這樣才能接到以法蓮罪證確鑿，必然遭遇痛苦，上帝決定要用死亡與陰間來審判他們。才會像先知在這裡所說的！

    但是我們讀到這樣的經文，上帝是要我們知道祂是多麼的恨惡罪惡，我們一定要悔改，不然我們的結局是何等可怕！更要感謝上帝，藉由耶穌基督將我們從這可怕的景況拯救出來！
