2:33 你怎麼修飾你的道路要求愛情呢？就是惡劣的婦人你也叫她們行你的路。
2:34 並且你的衣襟上有無辜窮人的血；你殺他們並不是遇見他們挖窟窿，乃是因這一切的事。
2:35 你還說：我無辜；耶和華的怒氣必定向我消了。看哪，我必審問你；因你自說：我沒有犯罪。
2:36 你為何東跑西奔要更換你的路呢？你必因埃及蒙羞，像從前因亞述蒙羞一樣。
2:37 你也必兩手抱頭從埃及出來；因為耶和華已經棄絕你所倚靠的，你必不因他們得順利。

So that even to wicked women

人常常認為自己是沒有罪的，連犯下了滔天大罪，還沾沾自喜的表示自己是替天行道，甚至於認為自己不會遭惹上帝的憤怒。
可是先知在此說到上帝必審問，這是非常嚴重的事，因為在上帝面前人士無所遁逃，我們做了任何事，上帝都看見，也都知道！而犯罪的事，更是上帝看得清清楚楚的；所犯的罪，上帝都能一一細數，誰也無法否認的！
所以，人必要在上帝面前勇敢認罪，才能得上帝的赦免和拯救。若想想找別倚靠來保護自己脫離上帝的審判，那是不可能的。因為，沒有人能在上帝面前站立的住，所以誰也不能保護誰。
然而上帝卻設立了耶穌基督成為我們的保護，更讓我們靠耶穌基督在上帝面前站立得住，因為耶穌基督是上帝和人中間唯一中保，是人唯一的救主，讓我們靠主耶穌基督在上帝面前，享受正確合一的關係吧！
