9:1 耶穌又對他們說：「我實在告訴你們，站在這裡的，有人在沒嘗死味以前，必要看見上帝的國大有能力臨到。」
9:2 過了六天，耶穌帶著彼得、雅各、約翰暗暗地上了高山，就在他們面前變了形像，
9:3 衣服放光，極其潔白，地上漂布的，沒有一個能漂得那樣白。
9:4 忽然，有以利亞同摩西向他們顯現，並且和耶穌說話。
9:5 彼得對耶穌說：「拉比（就是夫子），我們在這裡真好！可以搭三座棚，一座為你，一座為摩西，一座為以利亞。」
9:6 彼得不知道說甚麼才好，因為他們甚是懼怕。
9:7 有一朵雲彩來遮蓋他們；也有聲音從雲彩裡出來，說：「這是我的愛子，你們要聽他。」
9:8 門徒忽然周圍一看，不再見一人，只見耶穌同他們在那裡。
9:9 下山的時候，耶穌囑咐他們說：「人子還沒有從死裡復活，你們不要將所看見的告訴人。」
9:10 門徒將這話存記在心，彼此議論「從死裡復活」是甚麼意思。
9:11 他們就問耶穌說：「文士為甚麼說以利亞必須先來？」
9:12 耶穌說：「以利亞固然先來復興萬事；經上不是指著人子說，他要受許多的苦被人輕慢呢？
9:13 我告訴你們，以利亞已經來了，他們也任意待他，正如經上所指著他的話。」

he said to them, “Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste
death before they see that the kingdom of God has come with power.”
2 After
six days Jesus took Peter, James and John with him and led them up a high
mountain, where they were all alone. There he was transfigured before them. 3 His
clothes became dazzling white, whiter than anyone in the world could bleach
them. 4 And there appeared before them Elijah and Moses, who
were talking with Jesus.
5 Peter
said to Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three
shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.” 6 (He
did not know what to say, they were so frightened.)
7 Then
a cloud appeared and covered them, and a voice came from the cloud: “This is my
Son, whom I love. Listen to him!”
8 Suddenly,
when they looked around, they no longer saw anyone with them except Jesus.
9 As
they were coming down the mountain, Jesus gave them orders not to tell anyone
what they had seen until the Son of Man had risen from the dead. 10 They
kept the matter to themselves, discussing what “rising from the dead” meant.
11 And
they asked him, “Why do the teachers of the law say that Elijah must come
first?”
12 Jesus
replied, “To be sure, Elijah does come first, and restores all things. Why then
is it written that the Son of Man must suffer much and be rejected? 13 But
I tell you, Elijah has come, and they have done to him everything they wished,
just as it is written about him.”

我們在這裡看見主耶穌的人性承載著神性，祂不只是一個人，祂更是真神上帝的兒子！雖然摩西和以利亞，是很偉大的先知，是上帝所重用的僕人，卻是比不上耶穌基督。而且上帝要我們單單的跟隨祂，正向雲彩中傳來的聲音：「這是我的愛子，你們要聽他」。接著不再見一人，只見耶穌同他們在那裡。
我們是不是常常將眼目放在亮麗與神奇的人身上，卻沒有將眼目放在主耶穌身上。沒有好好來認識祂是上帝的兒子，追求祂以外的事物，更是希望自己成為別人所注目的人，正如摩西和以利亞！但是，上帝卻要讓我們透過耶穌基督，得著上帝兒女的身分，真正成為屬上帝的人。
曾經有位為主大大使用的僕人宣信博士，在他的生命中有一個重大的突破，是因為他發現：生命的重心不是追求有許多屬靈的恩賜，而是追求賜下恩賜的主耶穌，一生跟隨祂，領受聖靈為印記成為上帝的兒女！
同樣今天上帝也要對我們說：「這是我的愛子，你們要聽他！」
