創世記25:12-18

25:12 撒拉的使女埃及人夏甲給亞伯拉罕所生的兒子是以實瑪利。
25:13 以實瑪利兒子們的名字，按著他們的家譜記在下面。以實瑪利的長子是尼拜約，又有基達、亞德別、米比衫、
25:14 米施瑪、度瑪、瑪撒、
25:15 哈大、提瑪、伊突、拿非施、基底瑪。
25:16 這是以實瑪利眾子的名字，照著他們的村莊、營寨，作了十二族的族長。
25:17 以實瑪利享壽一百三十七歲，氣絕而死，歸到他列祖（原文是本民）那裡。
25:18 他子孫的住處在他眾弟兄東邊，從哈腓拉直到埃及前的書珥，正在亞述的道上。

¹³ These are the names of the sons of Ishmael, listed in the order of their birth: Nebaioth the firstborn of Ishmael, Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, ¹⁴ Mishma, Dumah, Massa, ¹⁵ Hadad, Tema, Jetur, Naphish and Kedemah. ¹⁶ These were the sons of Ishmael, and these are the names of the twelve tribal rulers according to their settlements and camps. ¹⁷ Ishmael lived a hundred and thirty-seven years. He breathed his last and died, and he was gathered to his people. ¹⁸ His descendants settled in the area from Havilah to Shur, near the eastern border of Egypt, as you go toward Ashur. And they lived in hostility toward^[b] all the tribes related to them.

創世記25:1-11

25:1 亞伯拉罕又娶了一妻，名叫基土拉。
25:2基土拉給他生了心蘭、約珊、米但、米甸、伊施巴，和書亞。
25:3 約珊生了示巴和底但。底但的子孫是亞書利族、利都是族，和利烏米族。
25:4 米甸的兒子是以法、以弗、哈諾、亞比大，和以勒大。這都是基土拉的子孫。
25:5 亞伯拉罕將一切所有的都給了以撒。
25:6 亞伯拉罕把財物分給他庶出的眾子，趁著自己還在世的時候打發他們離開他的兒子以撒，往東方去。
25:7 亞伯拉罕一生的年日是一百七十五歲。
25:8 亞伯拉罕壽高年邁，氣絕而死，歸到他列祖（原文是本民）那裡。
25:9 他兩個兒子以撒、以實瑪利把他埋葬在麥比拉洞裡。這洞在幔利前、赫人瑣轄的兒子以弗崙的田中，
25:10 就是亞伯拉罕向赫人買的那塊田。亞伯拉罕和他妻子撒拉都葬在那裡。
25:11 亞伯拉罕死了以後，上帝賜福給他的兒子以撒。以撒靠近庇耳‧拉海‧萊居住。

Abraham had taken another wife, whose name was Keturah. ² She bore him Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak and Shuah. ³ Jokshan was the father of Sheba and Dedan; the descendants of Dedan were the Ashurites, the Letushites and the Leummites. ⁴ The sons of Midian were Ephah, Epher, Hanok, Abida and Eldaah. All these were descendants of Keturah.

⁵ Abraham left everything he owned to Isaac. ⁶ But while he was still living, he gave gifts to the sons of his concubines and sent them away from his son Isaac to the land of the east.

⁷ Abraham lived a hundred and seventy-five years. ⁸ Then Abraham breathed his last and died at a good old age, an old man and full of years; and he was gathered to his people. ⁹ His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah near Mamre, in the field of Ephron son of Zohar the Hittite, ¹⁰ the field Abraham had bought from the Hittites.^[a] There Abraham was buried with his wife Sarah. ¹¹ After Abraham’s death, God blessed his son Isaac, who then lived near Beer LahaiRoi.

亞伯拉罕並非不能生育，主要的問題是在撒拉。但是不管如何，上帝還是透過撒拉給亞伯拉罕生了一位應許之子，也就是以撒。而亞伯拉罕也知道上帝的應許，所以的財產都給以撒，其他的兒打發他們離開。

然而亞伯拉罕也只有活到一百七十五歲，最後和撒拉埋在一起。不過他還沒有完全得迦南地為業。雖然如此，上帝卻為他預備一座永恆的城，正如希伯來書11章13-16節說：「這些人都是存著信心死的，並沒有得著所應許的；卻從遠處望見，且歡喜迎接，又承認自己在世上是客旅，是寄居的。說這樣話的人是表明自己要找一個家鄉。他們若想念所離開的家鄉，還有可以回去的機會。他們卻羨慕一個更美的家鄉，就是在天上的。所以上帝被稱為他們的上帝，並不以為恥，因為他已經給他們預備了一座城。」

讓我們也來盼望那一個更美的家鄉，就是在天上的。那是上帝為祂所愛的人所預備的，是上帝應許給每一位靠基督而成為亞伯拉罕子孫的人！

箴言24:15-16

24:15 你這惡人，不要埋伏攻擊義人的家；不要毀壞他安居之所。
24:16 因為，義人雖七次跌倒，仍必興起；惡人卻被禍患傾倒。

¹⁵ Do not lurk like a thief near the house of the righteous,
    do not plunder their dwelling place;
¹⁶ for though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again,
    but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes.

    「義人」指的是有上帝保守的人，這樣的人不是靠自己的好行為，是因為上帝的看顧與保守，所以就不被罪惡所影響與綑綁，聖靈會隨時提醒與提供力量，成為一個敬畏上帝的人。

    也因為這樣，聖經在這裡警告惡人，不要想侵犯義人，正如經文所說：「義人雖七次跌倒，仍必興起」。這裡的「七次」不一定是數目字上的「七」，而是指次數雖然多，卻沒有影響！

    義人之所以可以如此是因為上帝的保守，反而攻擊義人的，卻要受到報應，正如這裡的警告：「惡人卻被禍患傾倒」。因為惡人與上帝為敵，上帝也與他為敵，甚至不搭救他們脫離禍患！

    因此，我們要成為敬畏上帝的義人，不要自以為義，要以基督的義為我們的義，成為倚靠上帝的義人！

箴言24:13-14

24:13 我兒，你要吃蜜，因為是好的；吃蜂房下滴的蜜便覺甘甜。
24:14 你心得了智慧，也必覺得如此。你若找著，至終必有善報；你的指望也不致斷絕。

¹³ Eat honey, my son, for it is good;
    honey from the comb is sweet to your taste.
¹⁴ Know also that wisdom is like honey for you:
    If you find it, there is a future hope for you,
    and your hope will not be cut off.

    聽說猶太人教小朋友寫字，是要小朋友用手指頭沾蜜來的，寫一寫就沾到口中，讓小朋友覺得甜蜜，就告訴小朋友學習是甜蜜的，好鼓勵小朋友用心來學習，好得著知識，是人生過的美好！

    讓小朋友知道學習是甜蜜的，就會主動的來學習，而且是很快樂來學習，這樣的收獲是會超乎想像的，不僅事半功倍，更是會不斷的鑽研，一直擴展自己的視野，成為一個有智慧的人！

    然而成為一個智慧人，就是有真知識且敬為上帝的人，這樣的人如同從上帝那禮的活水一般，永遠不會缺乏，永遠感受到上帝無限的恩典！
