16:17 第七位天使把碗倒在空中，就有大聲音從殿中的寶座上出來，說：「成了！」
16:18 又有閃電、聲音、雷轟、大地震，自從地上有人以來，沒有這樣大、這樣厲害的地震。
16:19 那大城裂為三段，列國的城也都倒塌了；上帝也想起巴比倫大城來，要把那盛自己烈怒的酒杯遞給他。
16:20 各海島都逃避了，眾山也不見了。
16:21 又有大雹子從天落在人身上，每一個約重一他連得（一他連得約有九十斤）。為這雹子的災極大，人就褻瀆上帝。
The seventh angel poured out his bowl into
the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple, from the throne, saying,
"It is done!" And there were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals
of thunder, and a great earthquake such as there had never been since man was
on the earth, so great was that earthquake. The great city was split into three
parts, and the cities of the nations fell, and God remembered Babylon the
great, to make her drain the cup of the wine of the fury of his wrath. And
every island fled away, and no mountains were to be found. And great
hailstones, about one hundred pounds each, fell from heaven on people; and they
cursed God for the plague of the hail, because the plague was so severe.

上帝發怒的時候，我們發現人受不了時，仍然是褻瀆上帝，這是人不受教的表現！
人在苦難中應當悔改與尋求上帝的幫助，才會得著真正的平安。而不是像有些「心理輔導者」說的要將怒氣發出來，甚至說可以向上帝發怒與質問。
其實，我們對上帝是尋求幫助，是要敬畏祂，請祂來救我們脫離危險。
