約珥書2:28-32

2:28 以後，我要將我的靈澆灌凡有血氣的。你們的兒女要說預言；你們的老年人要做異夢，少年人要見異象。

2:29 在那些日子，我要將我的靈澆灌我的僕人和使女。

2:30 「在天上地下，我要顯出奇事，有血，有火，有煙柱。

2:31 日頭要變為黑暗，月亮要變為血，這都在耶和華大而可畏的日子未到以前。

2:32 到那時候，凡求告耶和華名的就必得救；因為照耶和華所說的，在錫安山，耶路撒冷必有逃脫的人，在剩下的人中必有耶和華所召的。」

28 "And it shall come to pass afterward,

that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh;

 your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,

your old men shall dream dreams,

and your young men shall see visions.

29 Even on the male and female servants

in those days I will pour out my Spirit.

30 "And I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke. 31 The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes. 32 And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the Lord has said, and among the survivors shall be those whom the Lord calls.

    約珥先知這樣的預言，在先約時代的五旬節已經應驗了，因為上帝將聖靈澆灌在當時的使徒身上，使他們說起當時各地猶太人的鄉談，使大家都認識到耶穌就是上帝所設立的基督，也唯有靠著上帝所設立的基督才能與上帝和好，讓那裏的猶太人感受到，從前他們所迫害的耶穌，今天竟然復活，還成為他們的救贖者！這是何等「新」的信息！

    而上帝是透過祂所揀選的人，並用聖靈的澆灌，才能宣告出上帝如此奇妙的信息！同樣今日我們被聖靈充滿的人，要宣告我們與上帝之間的罪債，是透過耶穌基督在十字架上的代贖，我們才能蒙上帝接納，成為祂的兒女，祂就以聖靈為我們的記號！

    說以今天我們說到聖靈是上帝拯救與揀選的記號，是上帝的作為，不是我們苦苦哀求，反倒是上帝要施恩給誰就給誰，祂要拯救誰就拯救誰。所以，我們要以感恩的心來領受，而不是要向人炫耀自己與人不同，對於未領受聖靈的人，反倒要以憐憫的心來為他們求恩典！

約珥書2:21-27

2:21 地土啊，不要懼怕；要歡喜快樂，因為耶和華行了大事。

2:22 田野的走獸啊，不要懼怕；因為，曠野的草發生，樹木結果，無花果樹、葡萄樹也都效力。

2:23 錫安的民哪，你們要快樂，為耶和華─你們的上帝歡喜；因他賜給你們合宜的秋雨，為你們降下甘霖，就是秋雨、春雨，和先前一樣。

2:24 禾場必滿了麥子；酒醡與油醡必有新酒和油盈溢。

2:25 我打發到你們中間的大軍隊，就是蝗蟲、蝻子、螞蚱、剪蟲，那些年所吃的，我要補還你們。

2:26 你們必多吃而得飽足，就讚美為你們行奇妙事之耶和華─你們上帝的名。我的百姓必永遠不致羞愧。

2:27 你們必知道我是在以色列中間，又知道我是耶和華─你們的上帝；在我以外並無別神。我的百姓必永遠不致羞愧。

21 "Fear not, O land;

be glad and rejoice,

for the Lord has done great things!

22 Fear not, you beasts of the field,

for the pastures of the wilderness are green;

 the tree bears its fruit;

the fig tree and vine give their full yield.

23 "Be glad, O children of Zion,

and rejoice in the Lord your God,

for he has given the early rain for your vindication;

he has poured down for you abundant rain,

 the early and the latter rain, as before.

24 "The threshing floors shall be full of grain;

the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.

25 I will restore to you the years

that the swarming locust has eaten,

 the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter,

 my great army, which I sent among you.

26 "You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied,

and praise the name of the Lord your God,

who has dealt wondrously with you.

And my people shall never again be put to shame.

27 You shall know that I am in the midst of Israel,

and that I am the Lord your God and there is none else.

And my people shall never again be put to shame.

    先知約珥在此說明上帝審判後的恩典，雖然經過審判，若是願意悔改，上帝就以新天新地之福來賜給願意歸向祂的人！

    我們常常抱怨上帝好像驕縱惡人，讓惡人亨通，好像不懲罰惡人！殊不知惡人就是我們自己，殊不知我們也是常常悖逆上帝，行不公義的事，心中毫無憐憫。上帝透過審判讓我們知道，我們要悔改，祂不是樂意懲罰人，祂也不希望按自己形像造的人，受到地獄火湖的永遠之苦！

    上帝盼望人悔改而得救，讓我們快快認罪，進而悔罪，最後離罪歸向上帝，祂已經為我們設立永遠的贖罪祭，就是耶穌基督將自己獻上，為我們死在十字架上，使我們從罪中被釋放，這是永遠的「新事」！從沒有哪一位神是如此行的！唯有真神上帝！

約珥書2:17-20

2:17 事奉耶和華的祭司要在廊子和祭壇中間哭泣，說：耶和華啊，求你顧惜你的百姓，不要使你的產業受羞辱，列邦管轄他們。為何容列國的人說：「他們的上帝在哪裡」呢？

2:18 耶和華就為自己的地發熱心，憐恤他的百姓。

2:19 耶和華應允他的百姓說：我必賜給你們五穀、新酒，和油，使你們飽足；我也不再使你們受列國的羞辱；

2:20 卻要使北方來的軍隊遠離你們，將他們趕到乾旱荒廢之地：前隊趕入東海，後隊趕入西海；因為他們所行的大惡（原文是事），臭氣上升，腥味騰空。

17 Between the vestibule and the altar

 let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep

and say, "Spare your people, O Lord,

and make not your heritage a reproach,

a byword among the nations.

 Why should they say among the peoples,

'Where is their God? '"

18 Then the Lord became jealous for his land

 and had pity on his people.

19 The Lord answered and said to his people,

"Behold, I am sending to you

grain, wine, and oil,

 and you will be satisfied;

and I will no more make you

a reproach among the nations.

20 "I will remove the northerner far from you,

and drive him into a parched and desolate land,

his vanguard into the eastern sea,

and his rear guard into the western sea;

 the stench and foul smell of him will rise,

for he has done great things.

    先知在這裡說明了上帝的審判之後，仍然有憐憫，因為上帝這次的審判是管教的性質。若是願意悔改，上帝仍然要賜福祂的百姓，仍然要保守他們直到永遠，因為上帝沒有忘記祂與亞伯拉罕、以撒和雅各的約。

    這也告訴我們，上帝的賜福安定在天，祂的信實是何等廣大，祂不會撇棄祂的子民，必保守到底！

    同樣上帝在基督裡的應許，更是一定會實現的，是絕對不會落空，祂必保守我們直到永遠，基督所成就的，永不變更，永遠有效力的！

約珥書2:12-16

2:12 耶和華說：雖然如此，你們應當禁食、哭泣、悲哀，一心歸向我。

2:13 你們要撕裂心腸，不撕裂衣服。歸向耶和華─你們的上帝；因為他有恩典，有憐憫，不輕易發怒，有豐盛的慈愛，並且後悔不降所說的災。

2:14 或者他轉意後悔，留下餘福，就是留下獻給耶和華─你們上帝的素祭和奠祭，也未可知。

2:15 你們要在錫安吹角，分定禁食的日子，宣告嚴肅會。

2:16 聚集眾民，使會眾自潔：招聚老者，聚集孩童和吃奶的；使新郎出離洞房，新婦出離內室。

12 "Yet even now," declares the
Lord,

 "return to me with all your heart,

 with
fasting, with weeping, and with mourning;

13 and rend your hearts and not your
garments."

Return to the Lord your God,

 for
he is gracious and merciful,

slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast
love;

 and
he relents over disaster.

14 Who knows whether he will not turn and
relent,

and leave a blessing behind him,

 a
grain offering and a drink offering

for the Lord your God?

15 Blow the trumpet in Zion;

 consecrate a fast;

call a solemn assembly;

16 gather the people.

 Consecrate the congregation;

assemble the elders;

 gather the children,

even nursing infants.

 Let
the bridegroom leave his room,

and the bride her chamber.

     先知約珥在這裡教導百姓面對審判時要：「你們應當禁食、哭泣、悲哀，一心歸向我（上帝）。你們要撕裂心腸，不撕裂衣服。歸向耶和華─你們的上帝；因為他有恩典，有憐憫，不輕易發怒，有豐盛的慈愛，並且後悔不降所說的災。」

    先知這樣的呼籲是要人知道，要從內心悔改認罪，回到上帝面前求上帝的憐憫，因為若不是上帝的憐憫的心腸，我們就注定要受到審判後永久的懲罰，誰也不可避免！但是上帝在基督裡將那日變成光明，因為祂透過基督來展現祂的愛！

    所以先知勸告以色列人要：「在錫安吹角，分定禁食的日子，宣告嚴肅會。聚集眾民，使會眾自潔：招聚老者，聚集孩童和吃奶的；使新郎出離洞房，新婦出離內室。」

    而我們屬乎基督的人，在禮拜的開始也是要先有「認罪」，才能清楚基督為甚麼要上十字架，才清楚祂的復活是上帝保證，才知道上帝的恩典與憐憫是何等的大！才會真正感恩與讚美祂，將自己獻給上帝當活祭，為主而活！
