詩篇130:5-6

 

130:5 我等候耶和華，我的心等候；我也仰望他的話。
130:6 我的心等候主，勝於守夜的，等候天亮，勝於守夜的，等候天亮。

⁵ I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits,
    and in his word I put my hope.
⁶ I wait for the Lord
    more than watchmen wait for the morning,
    more than watchmen wait for the morning.

    詩人仰望的不僅是上帝的作為，更是祂的話語（應許），展現了信心與盼望的交織。而他的心是何等的熱切，還說「勝於守夜的，等候天亮」兩次。

    可見上帝希望我們用熱切的心來等候祂，確定祂必定拯救，必定協助我們。
