詩篇135:5-7

 

135:5 原來我知道耶和華為大，也知道我們的主超乎萬神之上。
135:6 耶和華在天上，在地下，在海中，在一切的深處，都隨自己的意旨而行。
135:7 他使雲霧從地極上騰，造電隨雨而閃，從府庫中帶出風來。

⁵ I know that the Lord is great,
    that our Lord is greater than all gods.
⁶ The Lord does whatever pleases him,
    in the heavens and on the earth,
    in the seas and all their depths.
⁷ He makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth;
    he sends lightning with the rain
    and brings out the wind from his storehouses.

    這段經文(5-7節)談到創造主宰，詩人宣告耶和華是「大」的，祂在天上和地上，在海裡和深處，都隨自己的意旨行事。

    祂不僅創造了雲霧、閃電和雨水，更掌控著整個自然界。這與詩篇136篇相呼應，但這裡更強調上帝的至高主權。

    上帝透過看的見的創造物來彰顯自己的榮耀，也讓人看見祂自己奇妙的作為，肯定上帝的存在，好堅心來倚靠祂。
