以賽亞書1:2-10

1:2 天哪，要聽！地啊，側耳而聽！因為耶和華說：我養育兒女，將他們養大，他們竟悖逆我。
1:3 牛認識主人，驢認識主人的槽，以色列卻不認識；我的民卻不留意。
1:4 嗐！犯罪的國民，擔著罪孽的百姓；行惡的種類，敗壞的兒女！他們離棄耶和華，藐視以色列的聖者，與他生疏，往後退步。
1:5 你們為甚麼屢次悖逆，還要受責打嗎？你們已經滿頭疼痛，全心發昏。
1:6 從腳掌到頭頂，沒有一處完全的，盡是傷口、青腫，與新打的傷痕，都沒有收口，沒有纏裹，也沒有用膏滋潤。
1:7 你們的地土已經荒涼；你們的城邑被火焚毀。你們的田地在你們眼前為外邦人所侵吞，既被外邦人傾覆就成為荒涼。
1:8 僅存錫安城（原文是女子），好像葡萄園的草棚，瓜田的茅屋，被圍困的城邑。
1:9 若不是萬軍之耶和華給我們稍留餘種，我們早已像所多瑪、蛾摩拉的樣子了。
1:10 你們這所多瑪的官長啊，要聽耶和華的話！你們這蛾摩拉的百姓啊，要側耳聽我們上帝的訓誨！

Hear, O heavens, and listen, O earth;

for the Lord has spoken:

I reared children and brought them up,

but they have rebelled against me.

The ox knows its owner,

and the donkey its master’s crib;

but Israel does not know,

my people do not understand.

Ah, sinful nation,

people laden with iniquity,

offspring who do evil,

children who deal corruptly,

who have forsaken the Lord,

who have despised the Holy One of Israel,

who are utterly estranged!

 Why do you seek further beatings?

Why do you continue to rebel?

The whole head is sick,

and the whole heart faint.

From the sole of the foot even to the head,

there is no soundness in it,

but bruises and sores

and bleeding wounds;

they have not been drained, or bound up,

or softened with oil.

 Your country lies desolate,

your cities are burned with fire;

in your very presence

aliens devour your land;

it is desolate, as overthrown by foreigners.

And daughter Zion is left

like a booth in a vineyard,

like a shelter in a cucumber field,

like a besieged city.

If the Lord of hosts

had not left us a few survivors,

we would have been like Sodom,

and become like Gomorrah.

 Hear the word of the Lord,

you rulers of Sodom!

Listen to the teaching of our God,

you people of Gomorrah!

    以賽亞先知在此說猶大人的悖逆，雖然他們是上帝的選民，仍然是悖逆者，是上帝所憎惡的，就像所多瑪和蛾摩拉的人民是會遭上帝毀滅的民！但是，上帝不忍心將他們毀滅，還是為他們留下餘種，使上帝的選民不致斷絕。當然，上帝是期盼餘種悔改。

    同樣基督徒也是上帝在這世界的餘種，以至於使得人不致被滅絕。因為上帝造人的目的，是要人來彰顯祂的榮耀！所以，上帝必定保守祂所愛的人，透過這些人完成祂的使命。

    而上帝揀選餘種是透過耶穌基督，若不是耶穌基督，我們就像所多瑪、蛾摩拉的人民一般會滅亡！是耶穌基使我們不致滅亡，反得永生！

    這是以賽亞先知一開始的自我介紹！從這樣的介紹中，先知宣告自己做先知的時間是在：烏西雅、約坦、亞哈斯、希西家作猶大王的時候！而他得默示，是以猶大和耶路撒冷為中心。

    以賽亞是上帝忠心的僕人，他的預言以基督為中心，使人透過他認識上帝所應許的基督應該是怎樣！

    同樣，今日我們領受了基督裡的恩典，我們也要向人宣告基督的拯救，使人認識基督在我們身上的作為，進而願意在基督裡尊上帝為大！

耶利米書52:28-34

52:28 尼布甲尼撒所擄的民數記在下面：在他第七年擄去猶大人三千零二十三名；
52:29 尼布甲尼撒十八年從耶路撒冷擄去八百三十二人；
52:30 尼布甲尼撒二十三年，護衛長尼布撒拉旦擄去猶大人七百四十五名；共有四千六百人。
52:31 猶大王約雅斤被擄後三十七年，巴比倫王以未米羅達元年十二月二十五日，使猶大王約雅斤抬頭，提他出監，
52:32 又對他說恩言，使他的位高過與他一同在巴比倫眾王的位，
52:33 給他脫了囚服。他終身在巴比倫王面前吃飯。
52:34 巴比倫王賜他所需用的食物，日日賜他一分，終身是這樣，直到他死的日子。

³¹ In the thirty-seventh year of the exile of King Jehoiachin of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-fifth day of the month, King Evil-merodach of Babylon, in the year he began to reign, showed favor to King Jehoiachin of Judah and brought him out of prison; ³²he spoke kindly to him, and gave him a seat above the seats of the other kings who were with him in Babylon. ³³So Jehoiachin put aside his prison clothes, and every day of his life he dined regularly at the king’s table. ³⁴For his allowance, a regular daily allowance was given him by the king of Babylon, as long as he lived, up to the day of his death.

    巴比倫擄走猶大百姓分三次，而猶大王受到巴比倫王的優待！

耶利米書52:12-27

52:12 巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒十九年五月初十日，在巴比倫王面前侍立的護衛長尼布撒拉旦進入耶路撒冷，
52:13 用火焚燒耶和華的殿和王宮，又焚燒耶路撒冷的房屋，就是各大戶家的房屋。
52:14 跟從護衛長迦勒底的全軍就拆毀耶路撒冷四圍的城牆。
52:15 那時護衛長尼布撒拉旦將民中最窮的和城裡所剩下的百姓，並已經投降巴比倫王的人，以及大眾所剩下的人，都擄去了。
52:16 但護衛長尼布撒拉旦留下些民中最窮的，使他們修理葡萄園，耕種田地。
52:17 耶和華殿的銅柱並殿內的盆座和銅海，迦勒底人都打碎了，將那銅運到巴比倫去了，
52:18 又帶去鍋、鏟子、蠟剪、盤子、調羹，並所用的一切銅器、
52:19 杯、火鼎、碗、盆、燈臺、調羹、爵，無論金的銀的，護衛長也都帶去了。
52:20 所羅門為耶和華殿所造的兩根銅柱、一個銅海，並座下的十二隻銅牛，這一切的銅多得無法可稱。
52:21 這一根柱子高十八肘，厚四指，是空的，圍十二肘。
52:22 柱上有銅頂，高五肘；銅頂的周圍有網子和石榴，都是銅的。那一根柱子照此一樣，也有石榴。
52:23 柱子四面有九十六個石榴，在網子周圍，共有一百石榴。
52:24 護衛長拿住大祭司西萊雅、副祭司西番亞，和三個把門的，
52:25 又從城中拿住一個管理兵丁的官（或譯：太監），並在城裡所遇常見王面的七個人和檢點國民軍長的書記，以及城裡所遇見的國民六十個人。
52:26 護衛長尼布撒拉旦將這些人帶到利比拉的巴比倫王那裡。
52:27 巴比倫王就把他們擊殺在哈馬地的利比拉。這樣，猶大人被擄去離開本地。

¹² In the fifth month, on the tenth day of the month—which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon—Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguard who served the king of Babylon, entered Jerusalem. ¹³He burned the house of the Lord, the king’s house, and all the houses of Jerusalem; every great house he burned down. ¹⁴All the army of the Chaldeans, who were with the captain of the guard, broke down all the walls around Jerusalem. ¹⁵Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried into exile some of the poorest of the people and the rest of the people who were left in the city and the deserters who had defected to the king of Babylon, together with the rest of the artisans. ¹⁶But Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left some of the poorest people of the land to be vinedressers and tillers of the soil.

¹⁷ The pillars of bronze that were in the house of the Lord, and the stands and the bronze sea that were in the house of the Lord, the Chaldeans broke in pieces, and carried all the bronze to Babylon. ¹⁸They took away the pots, the shovels, the snuffers, the basins, the ladles, and all the vessels of bronze used in the temple service. ¹⁹The captain of the guard took away the small bowls also, the firepans, the basins, the pots, the lampstands, the ladles, and the bowls for libation, both those of gold and those of silver. ²⁰As for the two pillars, the one sea, the twelve bronze bulls that were under the sea, and the stands, which King Solomon had made for the house of the Lord, the bronze of all these vessels was beyond weighing. ²¹As for the pillars, the height of the one pillar was eighteen cubits, its circumference was twelve cubits; it was hollow and its thickness was four fingers. ²²Upon it was a capital of bronze; the height of the capital was five cubits; latticework and pomegranates, all of bronze, encircled the top of the capital. And the second pillar had the same, with pomegranates. ²³There were ninety-six pomegranates on the sides; all the pomegranates encircling the latticework numbered one hundred.

²⁴ The captain of the guard took the chief priest Seraiah, the second priest Zephaniah, and the three guardians of the threshold; ²⁵and from the city he took an officer who had been in command of the soldiers, and seven men of the king’s council who were found in the city; the secretary of the commander of the army who mustered the people of the land; and sixty men of the people of the land who were found inside the city. ²⁶Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took them, and brought them to the king of Babylon at Riblah. ²⁷And the king of Babylon struck them down, and put them to death at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah went into exile out of its land.

²⁸ This is the number of the people whom Nebuchadrezzar took into exile: in the seventh year, three thousand twenty-three Judeans; ²⁹in the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar he took into exile from Jerusalem eight hundred thirty-two persons; ³⁰in the twenty-third year of Nebuchadrezzar, Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took into exile of the Judeans seven hundred forty-five persons; all the persons were four thousand six hundred.

52:1 西底家登基的時候年二十一歲，在耶路撒冷作王十一年。他母親名叫哈慕他，是立拿人耶利米的女兒。
52:2 西底家行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，是照約雅敬一切所行的。
52:3 因此耶和華的怒氣在耶路撒冷和猶大發作，以致將人民從自己的面前趕出。
52:4 西底家背叛巴比倫王。他作王第九年十月初十日，巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒率領全軍來攻擊耶路撒冷，對城安營，四圍築壘攻城。
52:5 於是城被圍困直到西底家王十一年。
52:6 四月初九日，城裡有大饑荒，甚至百姓都沒有糧食。
52:7 城被攻破，一切兵丁就在夜間從靠近王園兩城中間的門，出城逃跑；迦勒底人正在四圍攻城。他們就往亞拉巴逃去。
52:8 迦勒底的軍隊追趕西底家王，在耶利哥的平原追上他。他的全軍都離開他四散了。
52:9 迦勒底人就拿住王，帶他到在哈馬地利比拉的巴比倫王那裡；巴比倫王便審判他。
52:10 巴比倫王在西底家眼前殺了他的眾子，又在利比拉殺了猶大的一切首領，
52:11 並且剜了西底家的眼睛，用銅鍊鎖著他，帶到巴比倫去，將他囚在監裡，直到他死的日子。

Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he began to reign; he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Hamutal daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah. ²He did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, just as Jehoiakim had done. ³Indeed, Jerusalem and Judah so angered the Lord that he expelled them from his presence.

Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon. ⁴And in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, King Nebuchadrezzar of Babylon came with all his army against Jerusalem, and they laid siege to it; they built siegeworks against it all around. ⁵So the city was besieged until the eleventh year of King Zedekiah. ⁶On the ninth day of the fourth month the famine became so severe in the city that there was no food for the people of the land. ⁷Then a breach was made in the city wall; and all the soldiers fled and went out from the city by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, by the king’s garden, though the Chaldeans were all around the city. They went in the direction of the Arabah. ⁸But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho; and all his army was scattered, deserting him. ⁹Then they captured the king, and brought him up to the king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, and he passed sentence on him. ¹⁰The king of Babylon killed the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and also killed all the officers of Judah at Riblah. ¹¹He put out the eyes of Zedekiah, and bound him in fetters, and the king of Babylon took him to Babylon, and put him in prison until the day of his death.
