3:6 那從曠野上來、形狀如煙柱、以沒藥和乳香並商人各樣香粉薰的是誰呢?
3:7 看哪,是所羅門的轎;四圍有六十個勇士,都是以色列中的勇士;
3:8 手都持刀,善於爭戰,腰間佩刀,防備夜間有驚慌。
3:9 所羅門王用黎巴嫩木為自己製造一乘華轎。
3:10 轎柱是用銀做的,轎底是用金做的;坐墊是紫色的,其中所鋪的乃耶路撒冷眾女子的愛情。
3:11 錫安的眾女子啊,你們出去觀看所羅門王!頭戴冠冕,就是在他婚筵的日子、心中喜樂的時候,他母親給他戴上的。
6 Who is this coming up from the wilderness
like
a column of smoke,
perfumed with myrrh and incense
made
from all the spices of the merchant?
7 Look! It is Solomon’s carriage,
escorted
by sixty warriors,
the
noblest of Israel,
8 all of them wearing the sword,
all
experienced in battle,
each with his sword at his side,
prepared
for the terrors of the night.
9 King Solomon made for himself the carriage;
he
made it of wood from Lebanon.
10 Its posts he made of silver,
its
base of gold.
Its seat was upholstered with purple,
its
interior inlaid with love.
Daughters of Jerusalem, 11 come
out,
and
look, you daughters of Zion.
Look[a] on King
Solomon wearing a crown,
the
crown with which his mother crowned him
on the day of his wedding,
the
day his heart rejoiced.

雅歌在此描寫主角所羅門的出現,是要讓人注意到上帝透過祂來代表大衛的子孫,讓人看見上帝透過大衛子孫所要彰顯的榮耀!因為上帝應許透過大衛的子孫,來顯明上帝與人之間所要建立的永遠之約!
雖然後來大衛王朝仍然是被巴比倫所擄走,但是上帝為祂的救恩留下餘種,最後讓耶穌基督降生在大衛後代的家中,成為大衛永遠的子孫,並且要做王到永永遠遠,要完成上帝與大衛所立的永約!
也因此,不要因為我們提到耶穌基督是大衛的後裔,是君王的身分,就認為我們在此說的是榮耀神學;不是的!我們仍然是以十架神學的立場來說這事,因為十字架的死不僅沒有遮掩耶穌基督的榮耀,反倒使耶穌基督上帝的兒子身分張顯,是因為在十字架上的死之後才有復活!復活翻轉了一切,復活使十字架變為榮耀!
復活使耶穌基督有資格成為教會的良人,也表明祂對新婦的愛是何等的偉大!祂不是要控制新婦,而是要讓上帝的榮光藉由新婦彰顯出來,並以上帝國為新婦的獎賞!
