95:1 來啊，我們要向耶和華歌唱，向拯救我們的磐石歡呼！
95:2 我們要來感謝他，用詩歌向他歡呼！
95:3 因耶和華為大神，為大王，超乎萬神之上。
95:4 地的深處在他手中；山的高峰也屬他。
95:5 海洋屬他，是他造的；旱地也是他手造成的。

95:8 你們不可硬著心，像當日在米利巴，就是在曠野的瑪撒。

上帝是藉著禮拜來更新我們的生命，不管是所唱的詩歌和所讀的聖經，都是上帝的作為。司會的宣召不是自己在說話，是代表上帝呼召會眾來敬拜與親近祂；講道者傳講的信息，也是將上帝的恩言帶給會眾，使人因上帝的話得安慰，而有力量邁向未來，盼望上帝的國早日實現！
因為這樣，詩歌和經文以及講道的人，在準備的時候，都要安靜等候上帝的話語，讓上帝透過聖經和聖靈來向我們啟示，使我們說說的信息，好讓會眾真的與上帝相遇，然後信靠上帝，享受上帝所賜的安息，這也是我們參加禮拜所要得的！
但是上帝所應許的「安息」是有條件的，就是要信靠而順服，而不是「紛爭」（米利巴）和「試探」（瑪撒），更是要有悔改的心，不可以硬著心！要清楚上帝是我們的天父，正如詩人在這裡要讀者：「來啊，我們要屈身敬拜，在造我們的耶和華面前跪下。因為他是我們的上帝；我們是他草場的羊，是他手下的民，惟願你們今天聽他的話！」
同樣我們到教會做禮拜，也要預備好自己，要聽上帝的話，求上帝讓我們有受教者的耳和口，不知聽上帝的話還要受差遣出去報揚上帝的恩言，使萬族萬民都能成為耶穌基督的門徒！
