西番雅書1:10-13

1:10 耶和華說：當那日，從魚門必發出悲哀的聲音，從二城發出哀號的聲音，從山間發出大破裂的響聲。

1:11 瑪革提施的居民哪，你們要哀號，因為迦南的商民都滅亡了！凡搬運銀子的都被剪除。

1:12 那時，我必用燈巡查耶路撒冷；我必懲罰那些如酒在渣滓上澄清的；他們心裡說：耶和華必不降福，也不降禍。

1:13 他們的財寶必成為掠物；他們的房屋必變為荒場。他們必建造房屋，卻不得住在其內；栽種葡萄園，卻不得喝所出的酒。

“On that day,” declares the Lord,

“a cry will be heard from the Fish Gate,

a wail from the Second Quarter,

a loud crash from the hills.

  Wail, O inhabitants of the Mortar!

For all the traders are no more;

all who weigh out silver are cut off.

  At that time I will search Jerusalem with lamps,

and I will punish the men

who are complacent,

those who say in their hearts,

‘The Lord will not do good,

nor will he do ill.’

  Their goods shall be plundered,

and their houses laid waste.

Though they build houses,

they shall not inhabit them;

though they plant vineyards,

they shall not drink wine from them.”

    上帝要將祂的懲罰臨到，一切努力將成為虛空，正如13節所說：「他們的財寶必成為掠物；他們的房屋必變為荒場。他們必建造房屋，卻不得住在其內；栽種葡萄園，卻不得喝所出的酒。」

    這也就是告訴我們：要敬畏耶和華，因為命運掌握在上帝手中。

西番雅書1:7-9

1:7 你要在主耶和華面前靜默無聲，因為耶和華的日子快到。耶和華已經預備祭物，將他的客分別為聖。

1:8 到了我─耶和華獻祭的日子，必懲罰首領和王子，並一切穿外邦衣服的。

1:9 到那日，我必懲罰一切跳過門檻、將強暴和詭詐得來之物充滿主人房屋的。

Be silent before the Lord God!

For the day of the Lord is near;

the Lord has prepared a sacrifice

and consecrated his guests.

  And on the day of the Lord's sacrifice—

“I will punish the officials and the king's sons

and all who array themselves in foreign attire.

  On that day I will punish

everyone who leaps over the threshold,

and those who fill their master's house

with violence and fraud.

    在西番雅書中最重要的一個詞就「耶和華的日子」，這是指耶和華審判的時候！正如基督徒等候「耶穌再來」，可以完全得贖的日子！

    對於世人耶穌基督的再來猶如世界末日，但對基督徒而言卻是榮耀的日子，因為在那一天上帝要讓我們與基督一同做王！

西番雅書1:4-6

1:4 我必伸手攻擊猶大和耶路撒冷的一切居民，也必從這地方剪除所剩下的巴力，並基瑪林的名和祭司，

1:5 與那些在房頂上敬拜天上萬象的，並那些敬拜耶和華指著他起誓，又指著瑪勒堪起誓的，

1:6 與那些轉去不跟從耶和華的，和不尋求耶和華也不訪問他的。

“I will stretch out my hand against Judah

and against all the inhabitants of Jerusalem;

and I will cut off from this place the remnant of Baal

and the name of the idolatrous priests along with the priests,

  those who bow down on the roofs

to the host of the heavens,

those who bow down and swear to the Lord

and yet swear by Milcom,

  those who have turned back from following the Lord,

who do not seek the Lord or inquire of him.”

    上帝保守祂的子民不要受到偶像崇拜的影響，就利用外侮來提醒，使他們可以歸向上帝。

    正如今日，我們面對患難時，要思考這是不是上帝要我們歸向祂，用這種方法來提醒我們要禱告尋求祂的幫助呢！

    所以，我們不管在甚麼狀況，要遠離倚靠偶像的誘惑，要來尋求上帝的幫助，透過耶穌基督與上帝有正確的關係！

西番雅書1:1-3

1:1 當猶大王亞們的兒子約西亞在位的時候，耶和華的話臨到希西家的玄孫，亞瑪利雅的曾孫，基大利的孫子，古示的兒子西番雅。

1:2 耶和華說：我必從地上除滅萬類。

1:3 我必除滅人和牲畜，與空中的鳥、海裡的魚，以及絆腳石和惡人；我必將人從地上剪除。這是耶和華說的。

The word of the Lord that came to Zephaniah the son of Cushi, son of Gedaliah, son of Amariah, son of Hezekiah, in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah. “I will utterly sweep away everything

from the face of the earth,” declares the Lord.

  “I will sweep away man and beast;

I will sweep away the birds of the heavens

and the fish of the sea,

and the rubble with the wicked.

I will cut off mankind

from the face of the earth,” declares the Lord.

    西番雅是在約西亞在位的時候做先知，正值猶大宗教復興之前的黑暗時期。所以，內容中充滿審判。

哈該書2:20-23

2:20 這月二十四日，耶和華的話二次臨到哈該說：

2:21 「你要告訴猶大省長所羅巴伯說：我必震動天地。

2:22 我必傾覆列國的寶座，除滅列邦的勢力，並傾覆戰車和坐在其上的。馬必跌倒，騎馬的敗落，各人被弟兄的刀所殺。

2:23 萬軍之耶和華說：我僕人撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯啊，到那日，我必以你為印，因我揀選了你。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。」

The word of the Lord came a second time to Haggai on the twenty- fourth day of the month, "Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I am about to shake the heavens and the earth, and to overthrow the throne of kingdoms. I am about to destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations, and overthrow the chariots and their riders. And the horses and their riders shall go down, every one by the sword of his brother.  On that day, declares the Lord of hosts, I will take you, O Zerubbabel my servant, the son of Shealtiel, declares the Lord, and make you like a signet ring, for I have chosen you, declares the Lord of hosts."

    撒拉鐵的兒子所羅巴伯是上帝所揀選成就祂救恩的，因為約瑟—瑪麗亞的先生，就是由他而出的！所以他是指向耶穌基督的！
