創世記5:6-24

5:6 塞特活到一百零五歲，生了以挪士。
5:7 塞特生以挪士之後，又活了八百零七年，並且生兒養女。
5:8 塞特共活了九百一十二歲就死了。
5:9 以挪士活到九十歲，生了該南。
5:10 以挪士生該南之後，又活了八百一十五年，並且生兒養女。
5:11 以挪士共活了九百零五歲就死了。
5:12 該南活到七十歲，生了瑪勒列。
5:13 該南生瑪勒列之後，又活了八百四十年，並且生兒養女。
5:14 該南共活了九百一十歲就死了。
5:15 瑪勒列活到六十五歲，生了雅列。
5:16 瑪勒列生雅列之後，又活了八百三十年，並且生兒養女。
5:17 瑪勒列共活了八百九十五歲就死了。
5:18 雅列活到一百六十二歲，生了以諾。
5:19 雅列生以諾之後，又活了八百年，並且生兒養女。
5:20 雅列共活了九百六十二歲就死了。
5:21 以諾活到六十五歲，生了瑪土撒拉。
5:22 以諾生瑪土撒拉之後，與上帝同行三百年，並且生兒養女。
5:23 以諾共活了三百六十五歲。
5:24 以諾與上帝同行，上帝將他取去，他就不在世了。

⁶ When Seth had lived 105 years, he became the father of Enosh. ⁷ After he became the father of Enosh, Seth lived 807 years and had other sons and daughters. ⁸ Altogether, Seth lived a total of 912 years, and then he died.
⁹ When Enosh had lived 90 years, he became the father of Kenan. ¹⁰ After he became the father of Kenan, Enosh lived 815 years and had other sons and daughters. ¹¹ Altogether, Enosh lived a total of 905 years, and then he died.
¹² When Kenan had lived 70 years, he became the father of Mahalalel. ¹³ After he became the father of Mahalalel, Kenan lived 840 years and had other sons and daughters. ¹⁴ Altogether, Kenan lived a total of 910 years, and then he died.
¹⁵ When Mahalalel had lived 65 years, he became the father of Jared. ¹⁶ After he became the father of Jared, Mahalalel lived 830 years and had other sons and daughters. ¹⁷ Altogether, Mahalalel lived a total of 895 years, and then he died.
¹⁸ When Jared had lived 162 years, he became the father of Enoch. ¹⁹ After he became the father of Enoch, Jared lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters. ²⁰ Altogether, Jared lived a total of 962 years, and then he died.
²¹ When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah. ²² After he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked faithfully with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters. ²³ Altogether, Enoch lived a total of 365 years. ²⁴ Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.

    以諾是一位與上帝同行300年的人，而他與上帝同行是在生瑪土撒拉以後。雖然他得年歲比起當時其他的人還要短，但是「以諾與上帝同行，上帝將他取去，他就不在世了」！表示他是一位被提的人，是上帝所特別對待的人，雖然不在世，卻在上帝那裡到永遠，這是每一位被上帝所拯救的人之樣式，如同摩西、如同以利亞，甚至主耶穌的升天，也就如同被提的人，將來我們屬主的人也要被提！

    說到被提不能不讀讀保羅的描述：「我們現在照主的話告訴你們一件事：我們這活著還存留到主降臨的人，斷不能在那已經睡了的人之先。因為主必親自從天降臨，有呼叫的聲音和天使長的聲音，又有上帝的號吹響；那在基督裡死了的人必先復活。以後我們這活著還存留的人必和他們一同被提到雲裡，在空中與主相遇。這樣，我們就要和主永遠同在。」（帖撒羅尼迦前4:15-17）

    我們當存著這樣的盼望來面對生與死，我們雖然有一天要離開這世界，不是進入永無止境的痛苦中，而是要和主永遠同在，這是美得無比的事，也是我們相信苦難之後必有福樂的盼望，讓我們勇敢向前行，如同以諾與上帝同行300年！

創世記5:1-5

5:1 亞當的後代記在下面。（當上帝造人的日子，是照著自己的樣式造的，
5:2 並且造男造女。在他們被造的日子，上帝賜福給他們，稱他們為「人」。）
5:3 亞當活到一百三十歲，生了一個兒子，形像樣式和自己相似，就給他起名叫塞特。
5:4 亞當生塞特之後，又在世八百年，並且生兒養女。
5:5 亞當共活了九百三十歲就死了。

This is the written account of Adam’s family line.

When God created mankind, he made them in the likeness of God. ² He created them male and female and blessed them. And he named them “Mankind” when they were created.

³ When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image; and he named him Seth. ⁴ After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters. ⁵ Altogether, Adam lived a total of 930 years, and then he died.

    上帝創造人之後，是上帝親自命名的，而上帝造人的法則是：「是照著自己的樣式造的，並且造男造女。在他們被造的日子，上帝賜福給他們」！

    看到上帝造人的心意是要賜福，這上帝主動要人興盛，要成全人的生命。而且上帝所造的人不是單單男人，還有女人。也因為如此，人不可以單單以男性為尊、女性為卑，而是互相平等，各有角色與次序。

    而在這個家譜中我們也發現，只記載塞特的子孫，是由於他們與上帝是有連結，這也是人在世上活著的重要任務。我們不可以認為只有用自己的努力和奮鬥來過日子，我們要讓上帝與我們的生活和生命連結，因為上帝的恩典就是祂讓自己與我們同在！

箴言22:15

愚蒙迷住孩童的心，用管教的杖可以遠遠趕除。

Folly is bound up in the heart of a child,
    but the rod of discipline will drive it far away.

    用杖管教小孩，不是因為我們對小孩子的「愚蒙」感到生氣，所以要用修理了方式來制止小孩愚蒙！那就失去使用杖打小孩的意義，因為這只是怒氣的發洩，甚至是恐嚇小孩，讓小孩子怕，這不是真正的教育。

    用杖的意思是鞭策，就是要讓小孩認清自己不要被愚蒙所綑綁，也就是不要隨自己的喜好行事，要隨上帝的旨意而行。使小孩自清楚是要遵行父母的教導，脫離自己無知的本性。

    正如父母為了讓小孩子不要養成偏食的習慣，不可以隨孩子的喜歡來預備餐點，而是照食物的營養特質，用週期輪流的方式或是季節的方式，使小朋友的營養均衡，這才是上策！

    今天為什麼有許多社會適應不良的人呢？就是因為被愚蒙所影響，自我中心作祟，這都是缺乏管教所造成的！所以，若正確的使用杖責小孩，就可以訓練出有紀律的小孩。在教會中做門徒訓練，是以無形的杖來鞭策，使人遵行耶穌基督的命令！

創世記4:25-26

4:25 亞當又與妻子同房，她就生了一個兒子，起名叫塞特，意思說：「上帝另給我立了一個兒子代替亞伯，因為該隱殺了他。」
4:26 塞特也生了一個兒子，起名叫以挪士。那時候，人才求告耶和華的名。

²⁵ Adam made love to his wife again, and she gave birth to a son and named him Seth, saying, “God has granted me another child in place of Abel, since Cain killed him.” ²⁶ Seth also had a son, and he named him Enosh.

At that time people began to call on the name of the Lord.

    「塞特」這個名字的意義就是「補償」。因為敬虔的人亞伯被殺了，上帝就使亞當與夏娃在生一個兒子來代替，使這個兒子來補償亞伯的地位。而塞特的出生，也是讓亞當夏娃心裡得到補償，因為他們失去的兒子又得著了！

    「以挪士」這個名字的意義就是「人」。之所以會稱為人，應該和「求告耶和華的名」有關係。人要能告呼求上帝的名，才可以完成上帝創造人的要求，因為人的受造就是要與上帝建立關係。

    所以，上帝必為自己預備祂所喜悅的子民，不需要人為上帝做什麼，因為上帝是大能者！是上帝拯救人，不是人挽救上帝！因此，是人要仰望與倚靠上帝，不是人能為上帝做什麼！

創世記4:17-24

4:17 該隱與妻子同房，他妻子就懷孕，生了以諾。該隱建造了一座城，就按著他兒子的名將那城叫做以諾。
4:18 以諾生以拿；以拿生米戶雅利；米戶雅利生瑪土撒利；瑪土撒利生拉麥。
4:19 拉麥娶了兩個妻：一個名叫亞大，一個名叫洗拉。
4:20 亞大生雅八；雅八就是住帳棚、牧養牲畜之人的祖師。
4:21 雅八的兄弟名叫猶八；他是一切彈琴吹簫之人的祖師。
4:22 洗拉又生了土八‧該隱；他是打造各樣銅鐵利器的（或譯：是銅匠鐵匠的祖師）。土八‧該隱的妹子是拿瑪。
4:23 拉麥對他兩個妻子說：亞大、洗拉，聽我的聲音；拉麥的妻子，細聽我的話語：壯年人傷我，我把他殺了；少年人損我，我把他害了（或譯：我殺壯士卻傷自己，我害幼童卻損本身）。
4:24 若殺該隱，遭報七倍，殺拉麥，必遭報七十七倍。

¹⁷ Cain made love to his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch. Cain was then building a city, and he named it after his son Enoch. ¹⁸ To Enoch was born Irad, and Irad was the father of Mehujael, and Mehujael was the father of Methushael, and Methushael was the father of Lamech.
¹⁹ Lamech married two women, one named Adah and the other Zillah. ²⁰ Adah gave birth to Jabal; he was the father of those who live in tents and raise livestock. ²¹ His brother’s name was Jubal; he was the father of all who play stringed instruments and pipes. ²² Zillah also had a son, Tubal-Cain, who forged all kinds of tools out of^[g] bronze and iron. Tubal-Cain’s sister was Naamah.
²³ Lamech said to his wives,

“Adah and Zillah, listen to me;
    wives of Lamech, hear my words.
I have killed a man for wounding me,
    a young man for injuring me.
²⁴ If Cain is avenged seven times,
    then Lamech seventy-seven times.”

     該隱的後代比起該隱更是罪惡，因為拉麥說道：「亞大、洗拉，聽我的聲音；拉麥的妻子，細聽我的話語：壯年人傷我，我把他殺了；少年人損我，我把他害了（或譯：我殺壯士卻傷自己，我害幼童卻損本身）。若殺該隱，遭報七倍，殺拉麥，必遭報七十七倍。」

    看見人是越來越墮落，也就越自我中心！雖然文明增進了，有畜牧業、工藝家和音樂家出現，卻是離上帝越遠！也因此，人的處境是越來越危險，人的衝突也越大！

    也因為如此，越顯得上帝救恩的重要性，越需要在基督裡和睦，使人看見信耶穌為救主是人將來且唯一的出路！
