哥林多前書 1:10-17

1:10 弟兄們，我藉我們主耶穌基督的名勸你們都說一樣的話。你們中間也不可分黨，只要一心一意，彼此相合。
1:11 因為革來氏家裡的人曾對我提起弟兄們來，說你們中間有紛爭。
1:12 我的意思就是你們各人說：「我是屬保羅的」；「我是屬亞波羅的」；「我是屬磯法的」；「我是屬基督的」。
1:13 基督是分開的嗎？保羅為你們釘了十字架嗎？你們是奉保羅的名受了洗嗎？
1:14 我感謝上帝，除了基利司布並該猶以外，我沒有給你們一個人施洗，
1:15 免得有人說，你們是奉我的名受洗。
1:16 我也給司提法那家施過洗，此外給別人施洗沒有，我卻記不清。
1:17 基督差遣我，原不是為施洗，乃是為傳福音，並不用智慧的言語，免得基督的十字架落了空。

¹⁰ I appeal to you, brothers and sisters,^[a] in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought. ¹¹ My brothers and sisters, some from Chloe’s household have informed me that there are quarrels among you. ¹² What I mean is this: One of you says, “I follow Paul”; another, “I follow Apollos”; another, “I follow Cephas^[b]”; still another, “I follow Christ.”
¹³ Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized in the name of Paul? ¹⁴ I thank God that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius, ¹⁵ so no one can say that you were baptized in my name. ¹⁶ (Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas; beyond that, I don’t remember if I baptized anyone else.) ¹⁷ For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel—not with wisdom and eloquence, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.

    保羅說到哥林多教會的現況：「革來氏家裡的人曾對我提起弟兄們來，說你們中間有紛爭。」

    而這樣的紛爭是來自分黨結派，正如羅所敘述的，各黨各派有自己的領袖人物，誰也不讓誰！以致於保羅說了重話：「基督是分開的嗎？保羅為你們釘了十字架嗎？你們是奉保羅的名受了洗嗎？」

    保羅在此更是重申自己是宣教士，不是駐堂牧師，他看重自己的宣教職分：「基督差遣我，原不是為施洗，乃是為傳福音，並不用智慧的言語，免得基督的十字架落了空。」

    保羅這樣說的目的，就是要弟兄姊妹看重宣教，而不是在教會內分黨結派。這也是牧會很重要的原則，弟兄姊妹同心的向外拓展時，才能表現大家是一家人，齊心為福音努力，就不會關起門來討論彼此信仰的異同，如此才不會有分裂的現象。
