詩篇38:5-12

38:5 因我的愚昧，我的傷發臭流膿。
38:6 我疼痛，大大拳曲，終日哀痛。
38:7 我滿腰是火；我的肉無一完全。
38:8 我被壓傷，身體疲倦；因心裡不安，我就唉哼。
38:9 主啊，我的心願都在你面前；我的歎息不向你隱瞞。
38:10 我心跳動，我力衰微，連我眼中的光也沒有了。
38:11 我的良朋密友因我的災病都躲在旁邊站著；我的親戚本家也遠遠地站立。
38:12 那尋索我命的設下網羅；那想要害我的口出惡言，終日思想詭計。

 

⁵ My wounds fester and are loathsome
    because of my sinful folly.
⁶ I am bowed down and brought very low;
    all day long I go about mourning.
⁷ My back is filled with searing pain;
    there is no health in my body.
⁸ I am feeble and utterly crushed;
    I groan in anguish of heart.

⁹ All my longings lie open before you, Lord;
    my sighing is not hidden from you.
¹⁰ My heart pounds, my strength fails me;
    even the light has gone from my eyes.
¹¹ My friends and companions avoid me because of my wounds;
    my neighbors stay far away.
¹² Those who want to kill me set their traps,
    those who would harm me talk of my ruin;
    all day long they scheme and lie.

    詩人這段描述其實是許多主所重用的僕人之經歷，如同：司布真、班揚約翰、…，甚至是主耶穌！都是常常經憂患，身體、心靈、服事、工作、…都受到魔鬼和世人的攻擊！這一切種種，若不是上帝伸手幫助，大概就是被殘酷命運所吞吃了！

 

    感謝上帝，主耶穌是我們永遠的保護者！他在外面抵擋，內再添加力量，使我們凡事都有從他而來的助力，使我們享受出人意外平安！正如保羅所說：「應當一無掛慮，只要凡事藉著禱告、祈求，和感謝，將你們所要的告訴上帝。上帝所賜、出人意外的平安必在基督耶穌裡保守你們的心懷意念。」(腓力比書4:6-7)

 

    我們的一切狀況，在上帝面前都是赤露敞開的，正如詩人所說：「主啊，我的心願都在你面前；我的歎息不向你隱瞞。」

 

    也因此，更要向上帝勇敢的求，將一切的苦情都要向上帝陳明，相信上帝在基督裡的應許！
