109:2 因為惡人的嘴和詭詐人的口已經張開攻擊我；他們用撒謊的舌頭對我說話。
109:3 他們圍繞我，說怨恨的話，又無故地攻打我。
109:4 他們與我為敵以報我愛，但我專心祈禱。

may they be driven[a] from their ruined homes.
11 May a creditor seize all he has;

their names blotted out from the next generation.
14 May the iniquity of his fathers be remembered before the Lord;
may the sin of his mother never be blotted out.

人生在世最不喜悅的事情就是受到別人的欺壓和霸凌，甚至於執法者也參與在其中！因為這樣的人生，讓人沒有安全感，一直活在恐懼中，因為不知道下一分鐘自己會發生什麼事，都很難把握！
也因為如此，人需要上帝成為保護者，正如詩人所描述的：「我要用口極力稱謝耶和華；我要在眾人中間讚美他；因為他必站在窮乏人的右邊，要救他脫離審判他靈魂的人。」
「審判他靈魂的人」在原文的意義是「定他死罪的人」，就是不公正的法官！這是因為人性被罪污染的結果，所以有許多可惡的事情發生在不該發生的地方，也因此必須有上帝的公義之彰顯，才能拯救人脫離這些不公平的狀況！
基督徒深知人性的軟弱，更是要為國家的司法與執法體系禱告，讓這些機關能夠秉公行事，不受私利的影響，才不會讓貧苦人受到壓迫，讓上帝的公義顯明在人間，使上帝的名得榮耀！當然更重要的，我們要盼望上帝國早早實現！因為在上帝國中，有上帝全能的彰顯，才有真正的公義，人人都享受平安之福！
