以賽亞書51:4-6

 

51:4 我的百姓啊，要向我留心；我的國民哪，要向我側耳；因為訓誨必從我而出；我必堅定我的公理為萬民之光。

51:5 我的公義臨近；我的救恩發出。我的膀臂要審判萬民；海島都要等候我，倚賴我的膀臂。

51:6 你們要向天舉目，觀看下地；因為天必像煙雲消散，地必如衣服漸漸舊了；其上的居民也要如此死亡（如此死亡：或譯像蠓蟲死亡）。惟有我的救恩永遠長存；我的公義也不廢掉。

Listen to me, my people,

and give heed to me, my nation;

for a teaching will go out from me,

and my justice for a light to the peoples.

5

I will bring near my deliverance swiftly,

my salvation has gone out

and my arms will rule the peoples;

the coastlands wait for me,

and for my arm they hope.

6

Lift up your eyes to the heavens,

and look at the earth beneath;

for the heavens will vanish like smoke,

the earth will wear out like a garment,

and those who live on it will die like gnats;

but my salvation will be forever,

and my deliverance will never be ended.

    上帝在此宣告：「惟有我的救恩永遠長存；我的公義也不廢掉。」

 

    也因為這樣﹗時代的變化並不會影響上帝的作為，人在怎麼改變，上帝仍然是施行祂的拯救，仍然彰顯祂的義，使我們活在祂的保護與眷顧之下，正如詩人所說的：祂的慈愛是長存的！

 

    雖然人的生命有限，祂卻是眷顧著世世代代的人，甚至將來有一日，要讓所有的人都復活接受審判，使祂的應許成就，使祂所拯救的人可以依同聚集來讚美祂到永遠！

 

    雖然將來如何尚未清楚，但到那日必一切都顯明，將比我們所能理解的更加奇妙！讓我們存著盼望，期盼那日快現！
