箴言21:18

惡人作了義人的贖價；奸詐人代替正直人。

The wicked become a ransom for the righteous,
    and the unfaithful for the upright.

    上帝是一切善惡的標準，遵守與順服上帝命令的人就是義人，這是人應該做的；違背與抵抗上帝命令的人就是惡人，這樣的人是上帝所痛惡的人！然而人類自從祖先亞當和夏娃違背上帝命令，人就處與和上帝互相為敵的狀態，是無法遵行上帝所有的命令，是處於滅亡的狀態！

    然而上帝愛世人，為了要人重新與祂和好，不要永遠處於悖逆的狀態，不願人受到滅亡之苦，所以透過祂的愛子耶穌基督設立拯救的恩典，好使人重新與祂和好，就將一切的懲罰都臨到耶穌基督的身上，讓祂為我們代贖，好使我們透過耶穌基督所完成的，可以被上帝稱義，被上帝接納！其實福音就是這樣簡單，透過耶穌基督與上帝和好！如此人和人之間才可以和好，因為福音是復和的動力！

    既然上帝將這樣的復和的福音放在我們面前，我們就要勇敢回應上帝，來靠著耶穌基督的恩典來到上帝面前，接受上帝從天而來的恩惠和拯救，享受回家的喜樂，重新成為上帝的兒女，進入真正的自由愈榮耀中，與基督一同做王到永遠！我們要活出新的生命：「惟有你們是被揀選的族類，是有君尊的祭司，是聖潔的國度，是屬上帝的子民，要叫你們宣揚那召你們出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。」（彼得前書2:9）

提多書3:12-15

3:12 我打發亞提馬或是推基古到你那裡去的時候，你要趕緊往尼哥坡里去見我，因為我已經定意在那裡過冬。
3:13 你要趕緊給律師西納和亞波羅送行，叫他們沒有缺乏。
3:14 並且我們的人要學習正經事業（或譯：要學習行善），預備所需用的，免得不結果子。
3:15 同我在一處的人都問你安。請代問那些因有信心愛我們的人安。願恩惠常與你們眾人同在！

 ¹² As soon as I send Artemas or Tychicus to you, do your best to come to me at Nicopolis, because I have decided to winter there. ¹³ Do everything you can to help Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their way and see that they have everything they need. ¹⁴ Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order to provide for urgent needs and not live unproductive lives.
¹⁵ Everyone with me sends you greetings. Greet those who love us in the faith.

    勉勵和祝福的話！

提多書3:1-11

3:1 你要提醒眾人，叫他們順服作官的、掌權的，遵他的命，預備行各樣的善事。
3:2 不要毀謗，不要爭競，總要和平，向眾人大顯溫柔。
3:3 我們從前也是無知、悖逆、受迷惑、服事各樣私慾，和宴樂，常存惡毒（或譯：陰毒）嫉妒的心，是可恨的，又是彼此相恨。
3:4 但到了上帝─我們救主的恩慈和他向人所施的慈愛顯明的時候，
3:5 他便救了我們；並不是因我們自己所行的義，乃是照他的憐憫，藉著重生的洗和聖靈的更新。
3:6 聖靈就是上帝藉著耶穌基督─我們救主厚厚澆灌在我們身上的，
3:7 好叫我們因他的恩得稱為義，可以憑著永生的盼望成為後嗣（或譯：可以憑著盼望承受永生）。
3:8 這話是可信的。我也願你把這些事切切實實地講明，使那些已信上帝的人留心做正經事業（或譯：留心行善）。這都是美事，並且與人有益。
3:9 要遠避無知的辯論和家譜的空談，以及紛爭，並因律法而起的爭競，因為這都是虛妄無益的。
3:10 分門結黨的人，警戒過一兩次，就要棄絕他。
3:11 因為知道這等人已經背道，犯了罪，自己明知不是，還是去做。

 Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, ² to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone.

³ At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. ⁴ But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, ⁵ he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, ⁶ whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, ⁷ so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. ⁸ This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.
⁹ But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless. ¹⁰ Warn a divisive person once, and then warn them a second time. After that, have nothing to do with them. ¹¹ You may be sure that such people are warped and sinful; they are self-condemned.

    保羅教導提多並沒有轄制提多，他要提多有成熟的表現，這是傳道人在教會要展現的，凡事不可以冒進起爭辯，正如保羅在此說：「要遠避無知的辯論和家譜的空談，以及紛爭，並因律法而起的爭競，因為這都是虛妄無益的。」

    傳道人要講的是上帝的做為，「並不是因我們自己所行的義，乃是照他的憐憫，藉著重生的洗和聖靈的更新。聖靈就是上帝藉著耶穌基督─我們救主厚厚澆灌在我們身上的，好叫我們因他的恩得稱為義，可以憑著永生的盼望成為後嗣（或譯：可以憑著盼望承受永生）。」

    我們一定要弟兄姊妹清楚上帝的救恩，和祂在我們身上其妙的做為，讓弟兄姊妹有清楚的得救確據，自然而然會在聖靈的引導下，活出基督的榮美，天天感謝與讚美主，樂意向人傳福音做見證！

提多書2:1-10

2:1 但你所講的總要合乎那純正的道理。
2:2 勸老年人要有節制、端莊、自守，在信心、愛心、忍耐上都要純全無疵。
2:3 又勸老年婦人，舉止行動要恭敬，不說讒言，不給酒作奴僕，用善道教訓人，
2:4 好指教少年婦人，愛丈夫，愛兒女，
2:5 謹守，貞潔，料理家務，待人有恩，順服自己的丈夫，免得上帝的道理被毀謗。
2:6 又勸少年人要謹守。
2:7 你自己凡事要顯出善行的榜樣；在教訓上要正直、端莊，
2:8 言語純全，無可指責，叫那反對的人，既無處可說我們的不是，便自覺羞愧。
2:9 勸僕人要順服自己的主人，凡事討他的喜歡，不可頂撞他，
2:10 不可私拿東西，要顯為忠誠，以致凡事尊榮我們救主─上帝的道。

 You, however, must teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine. ² Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance.

³ Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. ⁴ Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, ⁵ to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.
⁶ Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled. ⁷ In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness ⁸ and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us.
⁹ Teach slaves to be subject to their masters in everything, to try to please them, not to talk back to them, ¹⁰ and not to steal from them, but to show that they can be fully trusted, so that in every way they will make the teaching about God our Savior attractive.

    保羅教導提多怎樣成為教導者，不管面對男女老少，都要用「純正的道理」來教導。不僅如此，更要「要顯出善行的榜樣；在教訓上要正直、端莊，言語純全，無可指責，叫那反對的人，既無處可說我們的不是，便自覺羞愧。」

    的確，上帝的僕人要表現出崇高的道德生活標準，不是為自己的好處，是為榮耀上帝的名。因為我們在這個世界生活行事，就是「凡事尊榮我們救主─上帝的道」！

    今天我們既然有幸成為上帝所拯救的人，就是上帝的兒女，要讓人從我們身上看見父的榮光！正如主耶穌來到這個世界，約翰福音1章14節：「道成了肉身，住在我們中間，充充滿滿地有恩典有真理。我們也見過他的榮光，正是父獨生子的榮光。」1章18節：「從來沒有人看見上帝，只有在父懷裡的獨生子將他表明出來。」
