歌羅西書1:15-20

1:15 愛子是那不能看見之上帝的像，是首生的，在一切被造的以先。
1:16 因為萬有都是靠他造的，無論是天上的，地上的；能看見的，不能看見的；或是有位的，主治的，執政的，掌權的；一概都是藉著他造的，又是為他造的。
1:17 他在萬有之先；萬有也靠他而立。
1:18 他也是教會全體之首。他是元始，是從死裡首先復生的，使他可以在凡事上居首位。
1:19 因為父喜歡叫一切的豐盛在他裡面居住。
1:20 既然藉著他在十字架上所流的血成就了和平，便藉著他叫萬有─無論是地上的、天上的─都與自己和好了。

¹⁵ The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. ¹⁶ For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. ¹⁷ He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. ¹⁸ And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. ¹⁹ For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, ²⁰ and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

    保羅介紹耶穌基督，這也是基督論重要的內容，就是包括創造和救贖。也因此基督是完全的上帝，也是完全的人！祂除了創造萬有，祂更是保守與支持萬有，也就是祂也是護理萬物的那一位！

    也因為這樣，我們必須讓祂在我們的生命中做主、做王，讓祂來管理和保護我們的生命，更是要接受祂的救恩與上帝和好！要是藐視祂的恩典，不肯接受和倚靠祂的義，要靠自己的義與上帝和好是不可能的，因為藐視和忽略上帝的恩典，就是得罪上帝了！怎麼可能與上帝和好呢！所以，要與上帝和好，就必須靠耶穌基督，讓耶穌基督成為我們的主！

    我們不僅要知道主耶穌是基督，我們更要靠基督與上帝建立關係。所以，我們要勇敢的接受與倚靠耶穌基督的救恩，讓祂真正成為我們的主，好使上帝賜福在我們身上，好讓人看見上帝的榮耀，並歸榮耀給上帝！
