詩篇118:1-29

118:1 你們要稱謝耶和華，因他本為善；他的慈愛永遠長存！
118:2 願以色列說：他的慈愛永遠長存！
118:3 願亞倫的家說：他的慈愛永遠長存！
118:4 願敬畏耶和華的說：他的慈愛永遠長存！
118:5 我在急難中求告耶和華，他就應允我，把我安置在寬闊之地。
118:6 有耶和華幫助我，我必不懼怕，人能把我怎麼樣呢？
118:7 在那幫助我的人中，有耶和華幫助我，所以我要看見那恨我的人遭報。
118:8 投靠耶和華，強似倚賴人；
118:9 投靠耶和華，強似倚賴王子。
118:10 萬民圍繞我，我靠耶和華的名必剿滅他們。
118:11 他們環繞我，圍困我，我靠耶和華的名必剿滅他們。
118:12 他們如同蜂子圍繞我，好像燒荊棘的火，必被熄滅；我靠耶和華的名，必剿滅他們。
118:13 你推我，要叫我跌倒，但耶和華幫助了我。
118:14 耶和華是我的力量，是我的詩歌；他也成了我的拯救。
118:15 在義人的帳棚裡，有歡呼拯救的聲音；耶和華的右手施展大能。
118:16 耶和華的右手高舉；耶和華的右手施展大能。
118:17 我必不致死，仍要存活，並要傳揚耶和華的作為。
118:18 耶和華雖嚴嚴地懲治我，卻未曾將我交於死亡。
118:19 給我敞開義門；我要進去稱謝耶和華！
118:20 這是耶和華的門；義人要進去！
118:21 我要稱謝你，因為你已經應允我，又成了我的拯救！
118:22 匠人所棄的石頭已成了房角的頭塊石頭。
118:23 這是耶和華所做的，在我們眼中看為希奇。
118:24 這是耶和華所定的日子，我們在其中要高興歡喜！
118:25 耶和華啊，求你拯救！耶和華啊，求你使我們亨通！
118:26 奉耶和華名來的是應當稱頌的！我們從耶和華的殿中為你們祝福！
118:27 耶和華是上帝；他光照了我們。理當用繩索把祭牲拴住，牽到壇角那裡。
118:28 你是我的上帝，我要稱謝你！你是我的上帝，我要尊崇你！
118:29 你們要稱謝耶和華，因他本為善；他的慈愛永遠長存！

 

¹ Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
    his love endures forever.

² Let Israel say:
    “His love endures forever.”
³ Let the house of Aaron say:
    “His love endures forever.”
⁴ Let those who fear the Lord say:
    “His love endures forever.”

⁵ When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord;
    he brought me into a spacious place.
⁶ The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid.
    What can mere mortals do to me?
⁷ The Lord is with me; he is my helper.
    I look in triumph on my enemies.

⁸ It is better to take refuge in the Lord
    than to trust in humans.
⁹ It is better to take refuge in the Lord
    than to trust in princes.
¹⁰ All the nations surrounded me,
    but in the name of the Lord I cut them down.
¹¹ They surrounded me on every side,
    but in the name of the Lord I cut them down.
¹² They swarmed around me like bees,
    but they were consumed as quickly as burning thorns;
    in the name of the Lord I cut them down.
¹³ I was pushed back and about to fall,
    but the Lord helped me.
¹⁴ The Lord is my strength and my defense^[a];
    he has become my salvation.

¹⁵ Shouts of joy and victory
    resound in the tents of the righteous:
“The Lord’s right hand has done mighty things!
¹⁶     The Lord’s right hand is lifted high;
    the Lord’s right hand has done mighty things!”
¹⁷ I will not die but live,
    and will proclaim what the Lord has done.
¹⁸ The Lord has chastened me severely,
    but he has not given me over to death.
¹⁹ Open for me the gates of the righteous;
    I will enter and give thanks to the Lord.
²⁰ This is the gate of the Lord
    through which the righteous may enter.
²¹ I will give you thanks, for you answered me;
    you have become my salvation.

²² The stone the builders rejected
    has become the cornerstone;
²³ the Lord has done this,
    and it is marvelous in our eyes.
²⁴ The Lord has done it this very day;
    let us rejoice today and be glad.

²⁵ Lord, save us!
    Lord, grant us success!

²⁶ Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
    From the house of the Lord we bless you.^[b]
27 The Lord is God,
    and he has made his light shine on us.
With boughs in hand, join in the festal procession
    up^[c] to the horns of the altar.

²⁸ You are my God, and I will praise you;
    you are my God, and I will exalt you.

²⁹ Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
    his love endures forever.

    詩篇的開始與結尾也是呈現三明治的樣式：「你們要稱謝耶和華，因他本為善；他的慈愛永遠長存！」

 

    中間所談到的都是上帝的拯救之恩，特別是在敵人包圍的苦難之中，上帝伸手拯救，使詩人感受到上帝救他脫離死亡，讓他有獲得重生的感受！要不是上帝，就落落深深的陰間了，很難想像自己是如何！但是，上帝竟然能讓他經過這麼大的災難，還能存活，心中充滿感謝和讚美！

 

    當然在這首詩中的「匠人所棄的石頭已成了房角的頭塊石頭」曾被主耶穌引用來說明自己，也是使徒彼得講道和書信中引用到的內容，形容主耶穌雖然被人厭棄，卻被上帝大大的使用，成為拯救萬民的主！

 

    這也告訴我們：教會也要像主耶穌一樣，不要討世人的喜歡，要勇敢的倚靠天父，上帝必用祂的大能來高舉教會，不要期盼藉由一些討人喜歡的活動，來使人來到教會，反倒是教會要遵行聖經的教訓，好好實踐主耶穌所託付的大使命：「你們要去，使萬民作我的門徒，奉父、子、聖靈的名給他們施洗（或譯：給他們施洗，歸於父、子、聖靈的名）。凡我所吩咐你們的，都教訓他們遵守，我就常與你們同在，直到世界的末了。」(馬太福音28:19-20)

 

    是的，我們要照主耶穌所吩咐的，教訓那心願意接受耶穌基督為救主的人，這等人是基督用寶血買贖回來的人！正如保羅曾教導教會長老說到：「聖靈立你們作全群的監督，你們就當為自己謹慎，也為全群謹慎，牧養上帝的教會，就是他用自己血所買來的（或譯：救贖的）。」(使徒行傳20:28)
