20:10 「與鄰舍之妻行淫的，姦夫淫婦都必治死。
20:11 與繼母行淫的，就是羞辱了他父親，總要把他們二人治死，罪要歸到他們身上。
20:12 與兒婦同房的，總要把他們二人治死；他們行了逆倫的事，罪要歸到他們身上。
20:13 人若與男人苟合，像與女人一樣，他們二人行了可憎的事，總要把他們治死，罪要歸到他們身上。
20:14 人若娶妻，並娶其母，便是大惡，要把這三人用火焚燒，使你們中間免去大惡。
20:15 人若與獸淫合，總要治死他，也要殺那獸。
20:16 女人若與獸親近，與牠淫合，你要殺那女人和那獸，總要把他們治死，罪要歸到他們身上。
20:17 「人若娶他的姊妹，無論是異母同父的，是異父同母的，彼此見了下體，這是可恥的事；他們必在本民的眼前被剪除。他露了姊妹的下體，必擔當自己的罪孽。
20:18 婦人有月經，若與她同房，露了她的下體，就是露了婦人的血源，婦人也露了自己的血源，二人必從民中剪除。
20:19 不可露姨母或是姑母的下體，這是露了骨肉之親的下體；二人必擔當自己的罪孽。
20:20 人若與伯叔之妻同房，就羞辱了他的伯叔；二人要擔當自己的罪，必無子女而死。
20:21 人若娶弟兄之妻，這本是污穢的事，羞辱了他的弟兄；二人必無子女。
20:22 「所以，你們要謹守遵行我一切的律例典章，免得我領你們去住的那地把你們吐出。
20:23 我在你們面前所逐出的國民，你們不可隨從他們的風俗；因為他們行了這一切的事，所以我厭惡他們。
20:24 但我對你們說過，你們要承受他們的地，就是我要賜給你們為業、流奶與蜜之地。我是耶和華─你們的上帝，使你們與萬民有分別的。
20:25 所以，你們要把潔淨和不潔淨的禽獸分別出來；不可因我給你們分為不潔淨的禽獸，或是滋生在地上的活物，使自己成為可憎惡的。
20:26 你們要歸我為聖，因為我─耶和華是聖的，並叫你們與萬民有分別，使你們作我的民。
20:27 「無論男女，是交鬼的或行巫術的，總要治死他們。人必用石頭把他們打死，罪要歸到他們身上。」

10 “‘If
a man commits adultery with another man’s wife—with the wife of his
neighbor—both the adulterer and the adulteress are to be put to death.
11 “‘If
a man has sexual relations with his father’s wife, he has dishonored his
father. Both the man and the woman are to be put to death; their blood will be
on their own heads.
12 “‘If
a man has sexual relations with his daughter-in-law, both of them are to be put
to death. What they have done is a perversion; their blood will be on their own
heads.
13 “‘If
a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them
have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be
on their own heads.
14 “‘If
a man marries both a woman and her mother, it is wicked. Both he and they must
be burned in the fire, so that no wickedness will be among you.
15 “‘If
a man has sexual relations with an animal, he is to be put to death, and you
must kill the animal.
16 “‘If
a woman approaches an animal to have sexual relations with it, kill both the
woman and the animal. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their
own heads.
17 “‘If
a man marries his sister, the daughter of either his father or his mother, and
they have sexual relations, it is a disgrace. They are to be publicly removed
from their people. He has dishonored his sister and will be held responsible.
18 “‘If
a man has sexual relations with a woman during her monthly period, he has
exposed the source of her flow, and she has also uncovered it. Both of them are
to be cut off from their people.
19 “‘Do
not have sexual relations with the sister of either your mother or your father,
for that would dishonor a close relative; both of you would be held
responsible.
20 “‘If
a man has sexual relations with his aunt, he has dishonored his uncle. They
will be held responsible; they will die childless.
21 “‘If
a man marries his brother’s wife, it is an act of impurity; he has dishonored
his brother. They will be childless.
22 “‘Keep
all my decrees and laws and follow them, so that the land where I am bringing
you to live may not vomit you out. 23 You must not live
according to the customs of the nations I am going to drive out before you.
Because they did all these things, I abhorred them. 24 But I
said to you, “You will possess their land; I will give it to you as an
inheritance, a land flowing with milk and honey.” I am the Lord your God, who has set you apart
from the nations.
25 “‘You
must therefore make a distinction between clean and unclean animals and between
unclean and clean birds. Do not defile yourselves by any animal or bird or
anything that moves along the ground—those that I have set apart as unclean for
you. 26 You are to be holy to me because I, the Lord, am holy, and I have set you apart
from the nations to be my own.
27 “‘A
man or woman who is a medium or spiritist among you must be put to death. You
are to stone them; their blood will be on their own heads.’”

上帝看重「性關係」的聖潔，因為「性關係」是人與人的關係中最基礎的關係，家庭的關係是從這裡開始。也因為這樣的關係，家族和家族可以聯合再一起，最受構成廣大的親戚關係。這絕對不是兩情相悅，就可以隨心所欲去發生關係，造成許多的混亂，使社會結構動搖！
上帝用聖潔來保守這些人與人之間的關係不混亂，使人的關係保持穩定與平安！也因為這樣，人對性忠誠、不混亂，如此人才會看重自己與上帝的關係，不隨從別的假神。
所以，上帝在此宣告：「你們要歸我為聖，因為我─耶和華是聖的，並叫你們與萬民有分別，使你們作我的民。無論男女，是交鬼的或行巫術的，總要治死他們。人必用石頭把他們打死，罪要歸到他們身上。」
