撒迦利亞書10:1-2

10:1 當春雨的時候，你們要向發閃電的耶和華求雨。他必為眾人降下甘霖，使田園生長菜蔬。

10:2 因為，家神所言的是虛空；卜士所見的是虛假；做夢者所說的是假夢。他們白白地安慰人，所以眾人如羊流離，因無牧人就受苦。

Ask rain from the Lord

in the season of the spring rain,

from the Lord who makes the storm clouds,

and he will give them showers of rain,

to everyone the vegetation in the field.

For the household gods utter nonsense,

and the diviners see lies;

 they tell false dreams

and give empty consolation.

Therefore the people wander like sheep;

they are afflicted for lack of a shepherd.

    這裡讓我們看見牧者對人是多麼重要，許多人因為沒有上帝所差派的牧者，就像流離的羊，找不到家，找不到看護的人，使人空虛不知所措！

    許多人對於信仰感到無意義，就像先知在這裡所說：「家神所言的是虛空；卜士所見的是虛假；做夢者所說的是假夢。」

    除非尋找到上帝，就需要透過真正的大牧人——耶穌基督，而耶穌基督更將這樣的使命交託給我們這些蒙主所選招的人，將亡羊帶回牧者前面，才不致受苦！
