箴言5:1-6

5:1 我兒，要留心我智慧的話語，側耳聽我聰明的言詞，
5:2 為要使你謹守謀略，嘴唇保存知識。
5:3 因為淫婦的嘴滴下蜂蜜；她的口比油更滑，
5:4 至終卻苦似茵蔯，快如兩刃的刀。
5:5 她的腳下入死地；她腳步踏住陰間，
5:6 以致她找不著生命平坦的道。她的路變遷不定，自己還不知道。

My son, pay attention to my wisdom,
    turn your ear to my words of insight,
² that you may maintain discretion
    and your lips may preserve knowledge.
³ For the lips of the adulterous woman drip honey,
    and her speech is smoother than oil;
⁴ but in the end she is bitter as gall,
    sharp as a double-edged sword.
⁵ Her feet go down to death;
    her steps lead straight to the grave.
⁶ She gives no thought to the way of life;
    her paths wander aimlessly, but she does not know it.

    「性」是上帝給人最好的禮物，是要人在夫婦關係中享受，而不是用它來換取財物、地位、權力、…等等心中所欲求的東西。如此的話，就是使自己落入地獄之中，受到上帝永遠的憤怒！

    人如何可以從情慾的控制之下走出來呢？作情慾的主人而非情慾的奴僕呢？就是要好好聆聽《箴言》的作者所說「智慧的話語」和「聰明的言詞」，還要「謹守謀略」和「保存知識」。

    意思說，人要在言行上遵照《箴言》的作者所說的去做和與人分享。今天我們要化聖經的教訓為行動和教導，使弟兄姐妹同得造就，教會得以建立起來，榮耀與見證主耶穌基督！
