羅馬書13:1-7

13:1 在上有權柄的，人人當順服他，因為沒有權柄不是出於上帝的。凡掌權的都是上帝所命的。
13:2 所以，抗拒掌權的就是抗拒上帝的命；抗拒的必自取刑罰。
13:3 作官的原不是叫行善的懼怕，乃是叫作惡的懼怕。你願意不懼怕掌權的嗎？你只要行善，就可得他的稱讚；
13:4 因為他是上帝的用人，是與你有益的。你若作惡，卻當懼怕；因為他不是空空地佩劍；他是上帝的用人，是伸冤的，刑罰那作惡的。
13:5 所以，你們必須順服，不但是因為刑罰，也是因為良心。
13:6 你們納糧，也為這個緣故；因他們是上帝的差役，常常特管這事。
13:7 凡人所當得的，就給他。當得糧的，給他納糧；當得稅的，給他上稅；當懼怕的，懼怕他；當恭敬的，恭敬他。

Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. ² Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. ³ For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. ⁴ For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. ⁵ Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.

⁶ This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. ⁷ Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

    保羅在此教導信徒對地上統治者該有的態度與作為，基礎還是在上帝的主權的宣達與成就。因為上帝創造萬物之後，繼續進行祂的護理之工，好使受造之物不會再變為無有。而在人得當中要成就的，就是藉由人類的統治者完成上帝對人的眷顧與保守。

    也因為如此，統治者必須完成上帝的公義，讓世人感受上帝的公義是充滿全地，以至於相信上帝的做為，行在上帝的榮耀中，成就上帝在人身上張顯祂榮光的旨意。也因此，政治的目的是在完成上帝保守萬民的旨意，不是爭權與奪利。

    然而人因罪性常常只為一己之私，連執政掌權者也不例外。所以，政治制度上常常需要有各種的權衡，使政治能夠真正發揮作用。也因此，基督徒要關心政治，不可以置身事外。因此教會，也有參與監督政府的權力，可以為不公不義的事情發聲，來督促政府來行公義、好憐憫！使上帝的公義，可以如洋海般充滿全地！

    當然要政府能運作，公共事務能推展，基督徒要勇於繳稅如同奉獻十分之一給教會一般。如此，政府才有好的運作，完成上帝所賦予的責任，使萬民得福分，生活得便利。

箴言15:19

懶惰人的道像荊棘的籬笆；正直人的路是平坦的大道。

The way of the sluggard is blocked with thorns,
    but the path of the upright is a highway.

    這裡說的「懶惰人」就是遊手好閒的人，他們恨惡工作，只想睡覺，完全沒有奮鬥的心。也因為這樣，他們就沒有甚麼收入，道路就充滿了困難，像荊棘的籬笆。

    正直的人是肯努力工作的人，也因此就不會在收入上斷絕，人生的目標就能一一的達成，沒有甚麼缺乏，以至於他們走的是平坦的大道。

    所以，我們要有美好的人生，就必須勤勞工做，這是上帝所喜悅的！

箴言15:18

暴怒的人挑啟爭端；忍怒的人止息紛爭。

A hot-tempered person stirs up conflict,
    but the one who is patient calms a quarrel.

    怒氣常常使人犯下不可彌補的錯誤，讓人後悔萬分。所以，人若能控制自己的怒氣，就可以避免鑄成大錯，並且可以榮耀上帝。

    說到「暴怒的人挑啟爭端」，我們可是常常可以看見，尤其是在馬路上。有許多開車的人爭先恐後，也因此就造成了許多行車糾紛。然而在這些糾紛中，大家都爭得面紅耳赤，不顧及形像了，就是要爭贏，誰都不想輸，輸了就要負責培賞，誰也不願意！

    這是人與人相爭的情形，可是上帝與人卻不是如此，上帝卻情願以自己的愛子耶穌基督來捨命，好使人與祂和好，締結和平之約，大大的不同！

    上帝之所以這樣做是要忍住怒氣，好止息紛爭，使上帝的心得到滿足，人也才能充滿喜樂！

哥林多前書15:1-11

15:1 弟兄們，我如今把先前所傳給你們的福音告訴你們知道；這福音你們也領受了，又靠著站立得住，
15:2 並且你們若不是徒然相信，能以持守我所傳給你們的，就必因這福音得救。
15:3 我當日所領受又傳給你們的：第一，就是基督照聖經所說，為我們的罪死了，
15:4 而且埋葬了；又照聖經所說，第三天復活了，
15:5 並且顯給磯法看，然後顯給十二使徒看；
15:6 後來一時顯給五百多弟兄看，其中一大半到如今還在，卻也有已經睡了的。
15:7 以後顯給雅各看，再顯給眾使徒看，
15:8 末了也顯給我看；我如同未到產期而生的人一般。
15:9 我原是使徒中最小的，不配稱為使徒，因為我從前逼迫上帝的教會。
15:10 然而，我今日成了何等人，是蒙上帝的恩才成的，並且他所賜我的恩不是徒然的。我比眾使徒格外勞苦；這原不是我，乃是上帝的恩與我同在。
15:11 不拘是我，是眾使徒，我們如此傳，你們也如此信了。

Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. ² By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

³ For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance^[a]: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, ⁴ that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, ⁵ and that he appeared to Cephas,^[b] and then to the Twelve. ⁶ After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. ⁷ Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, ⁸ and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.
⁹ For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. ¹⁰ But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. ¹¹ Whether, then, it is I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed.

    保羅在此清楚的告訴我們福音的內容：「第一，就是基督照聖經所說，為我們的罪死了，而且埋葬了；又照聖經所說，第三天復活了，並且顯給磯法看，然後顯給十二使徒看；後來一時顯給五百多弟兄看，其中一大半到如今還在，卻也有已經睡了的。」（3-6節）

    保羅這樣的宣告，是要受信的人在一次確認自己所信的是真實的！而讀這封書信的信徒，是理所當然得受信者，你是否也是如此信呢？正如保羅再次的提醒：「不拘是我，是眾使徒，我們如此傳，你們也如此信了。」（11節）

    然而保羅更是以個人的經歷來見證上帝的奇妙，因為他是因為看見復活的基督，從迫害教會的人改變成建立教會的人。他將自己的轉變見證出來：「我原是使徒中最小的，不配稱為使徒，因為我從前逼迫上帝的教會。然而，我今日成了何等人，是蒙上帝的恩才成的，並且他所賜我的恩不是徒然的。我比眾使徒格外勞苦；這原不是我，乃是上帝的恩與我同在。」（9-10節）

    願你也如保羅一般，遇見復活的基督，使福音進入你的生命，也使你活在福音之中！
