彼得後書3:14

親愛的弟兄啊，你們既盼望這些事，就當殷勤，使自己沒有玷污，無可指摘，安然見主；

Therefore, beloved, while you are waiting for these things, strive to be found by him at peace, without spot or blemish;

Só-yî, chhîn-oi ke phèn-yû â, ki-yèn ngì-têu tén-heu ke-ngit, chhiu yin-kôi chhai Song-ti mien-chhièn chhin-li̍t chûi-khiù sṳn-kiet, ko mò hó hiàm ke sên-fa̍t, thùng Kì fò-hó.

等候主耶穌再來，最重要的事就是要在基督裡與上帝和好。如此我們才能稱得上是：沒有玷污，無可指摘！

所以，對於主耶穌再來這事，我們最好的準備，還是要使自己在基督裡，確實與上帝有正確和合一的關係。這樣的關係之建立，還是回到信仰的中心：因信稱義！

也因為如此，我們一定要回到信仰的核心，不是以行為來賺取的救的資格，而是以信心來領受上帝的恩典。而且相信之所以有如此的恩典，是出於上帝的憐憫。

因此，預備好自己是：我們是否「因信稱義」，正如舊約先知哈巴谷所說：「義人必因信得生！」

彼得後書3:10-12

3:10 但主的日子要像賊來到一樣。那日，天必大有響聲廢去，有形質的都要被烈火銷化，地和其上的物都要燒盡了。

3:11 這一切既然都要如此銷化，你們為人該當怎樣聖潔，怎樣敬虔，

3:12 切切仰望上帝的日子來到。在那日，天被火燒就銷化了，有形質的都要被烈火鎔化。

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and everything that is done on it will be disclosed. Since all these things are to be dissolved in this way, what sort of persons ought you to be in leading lives of holiness and godliness, waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set ablaze and dissolved, and the elements will melt with fire?

Chúng-he, Chú chai-lòi ke-ngit chhiu-chhiong chhe̍t-é fut-yèn lòi-to yit-yong. Chhai ke-ngit, chû-thiên voi chhai thai-sâng chûng sêu-sṳt, sên-sṳ̀n voi chhai lie̍t-fó chûng sêu-thet, thai-thi lâu van-vu̍t lûng-chúng voi sêu-me̍t thet-hi. Ki-yèn liá yit-chhiet oi án-ngiòng fí-me̍t-thet, ngì-têu hàng-sṳ cho-ngìn oi ngióng-pân nè? Ngì-têu yin-tông oi ko sṳn-kiet lâu khièn-sṳ̀n ke sên-fa̍t, lòi tén-heu Song-ti ke ngit-è, chhûi-pet kì kón-kín lòi( 4 3:12 “chhûi-pet kì kón-kín lòi” ya-he yi̍t-cho “chhiet-chhiet ngióng-mong kì ke lòi-to”.). Chhai ke-ngit, chû-thiên voi pûn-fó sêu-me̍t-thet, sên-sṳ̀n voi chhai lie̍t-fó chûng yùng-thet.

使徒告訴讀者，主耶穌再來的日子像賊來到一樣，要以聖潔和敬虔來切望那日子。也就是說，要隨時準備好自己，好來面對主耶穌再來。因為主耶穌再來是必然性的，只是早晚的問題。

也因為這樣，我們必須活出對主耶穌再來的肯定性，大大小小的事都要考慮到主耶穌再來時，我們必被祂帶到榮耀之處，進入祂的國。更要肯定的是，現在的一切，都要因為祂的再來而改變，一切都要更新與改換，如同被火所銷化，就是燒毀的意思。

讓我們天天預備好自己，因為在我們想不到的時候，主耶穌救再來了，我們就與眾聖徒同入榮耀中，這就是被提的意義，相信你也必肯定自己是真正被提的，因為你是透過信靠耶穌基督，成為上帝的兒女！

彼得後書3:3-7

3:3 第一要緊的，該知道在末世必有好譏誚的人隨從自己的私慾出來譏誚說：

3:4 「主要降臨的應許在哪裡呢？因為從列祖睡了以來，萬物與起初創造的時候仍是一樣。」

3:5 他們故意忘記，從太古，憑上帝的命有了天，並從水而出、藉水而成的地。

3:6 故此，當時的世界被水淹沒就消滅了。

3:7 但現在的天地還是憑著那命存留，直留到不敬虔之人受審判遭沉淪的日子，用火焚燒。

First of all you must understand this, that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and indulging their own lusts and saying, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since our ancestors died, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation!” They deliberately ignore this fact, that by the word of God heavens existed long ago and an earth was formed out of water and by means of water, through which the world of that time was deluged with water and perished. But by the same word the present heavens and earth have been reserved for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the godless.

Chui chhung-yeu ke he, ngì-têu yit-thin oi tî, chhai liá ma̍t-heu ke ngit-khì, yû-têu ngìn su sṳ̂-yu̍k ke hot-chṳ, voi chhut-lòi met-sa ngì-têu, kóng: “Kì m̀-he yin-hí oi chai-lòi mâ? Kì chhai nai-vi nè? Ngài-têu ke chú-siên lûng-chúng ko-sṳ̂n lé, chúng-he van-yû kám m̀-he hàn lâu thai-chhû chhóng-chho ke sṳ̀ khiung-yong mâ?” Kì-têu thiâu-thiâu m̀ ki-tet Song-ti chhai thai-chhû yung Kì ke fa chhóng-chho thiên-thi liá-ke sṳ-sṳ̍t. Thi he tui súi, thûng-ko súi lòi sṳ̀n-hìn ke; khiu ke sṳ-kie ya he tui súi, chhiu-he thai-súi lòi sêu-me̍t ke. Liá-ha ke thiên lâu thi ya khiung-yong he phìn Song-ti ke fa pó-liù hâ-lòi ke, tén-to m̀ sin ke ngìn su sṳ́m-phan, oi sêu-me̍t ke-ngit, chhiu oi yung fó sêu-thet.

主耶穌再來這樣重要的信息，在講台上已經漸漸被遺忘了，多少傳道者去傳講這被弟兄姊妹忽略的信息呢？因為它是發生在將來的事件，不關現在的事嗎？所以不必理會它？

不是的，使徒們說道這事時，是與現在的生活所行是有相關的。因為我們現在是走在往「主耶穌再來」這個事件中，我們的一步一腳印，都是與這件事有關係，因為這條路是主耶穌走的，我們跟隨祂的人也要走。一步都不能差錯，一有差錯若不是聖靈的引導，我們就將會迷失。這也是為甚麼基督徒要常常悔改之原因，就是要修正自己的腳步，走向永生，面對耶穌基督必再來的事實。

然而耶穌再來必帶來審判，而可預知的是，若是世人不悔改歸向上帝，終必因自己的罪行而受到刑罰，這刑罰必如火一般，焚燒一切的悖逆和罪惡。要脫離這樣的命運，只有靠上帝在耶穌督裡的救恩。因為上帝是愛，所以祂設立這救恩。並且愛到一個程度，就是他最寶貴的愛子耶穌基督，都為人捨了！
